Hello. I'm going to show you how to set up a Facebook business manager for your business. If you want to get started with Facebook advertising, getting your business manager set up is highly recommended as you will then be able to manage your ad account, your pages and the people who work on them all in one place and it is free to use. You might think that because this isn't familiar to you that you won't have a business manager already, but be cautious here. If you've ever boosted a post from the feed in the past, you are likely to have an ad account already and quite possibly you will therefore have a business manager or a business suite already in place. A business suite account is not the same as a business manager. Very similar, but not quite the same. So it can make this confusing. But it is possible to switch your business suite account into a business manager account and I will be showing you how or explaining how to do this. So I'm going to show you how to find out if you already have a business manager account for your Page. If you're not sure how to switch your business suite account to a business manager account and how to set up your business manager account for your Page if you don't already have one. So first of all, if you're not sure if your Page is already sat in a business manager, then there is a simple way to find out. Log into Facebook using your usual personal login on your desktop as I have done here, and go to your Facebook business page and look for Page settings. So Pages is here where the flag is. Go to the Page that you want to check and scroll down to Settings and find Page roles. So here, this is what you're looking for under Page Owner. If you do see a Page owner, this means a business manager for your Page has been created in the past. So here you can see that I, I have got a Page owner. So I know that this page is sat within a business manager already. And given that I'm the only admin on it, then it's really clear it's going to be associated with me. So for the most part, if you are the business owner and you created the Facebook page, then it is most likely your business manager and there's a very quick way to access it which I will show you. Now you go back into home and just look on the left hand side for where it says either Business Manager or Business suite. So if it, if, if it was owned, it's definitely going to say business manager, but it might say Business Suite. So just click into that and I'll show you what happens. For me, it just takes me straight off to my business manager. If it doesn't work for you this way, then look at all the page admins listed back under Page Roles and ask them to each follow the same process. One of them will have access to the business manager that owns the page. If for you it comes up with a Business suite account, you can switch it to a business manager account to by looking for more business tools in your menu. This is within the Business suite menu and then find Business Settings and then click on that and this will then switch your business suite account into a Business manager account. So I can't show you that, but if you follow those steps, that should take you through your business suite account into your business manager account. So if when you looked on your page you did not see a pajonor, you can go ahead and set one up and I'll show you how to do that. Now to do this properly I'm going to open up an incognito window and I'm going to create two tabs open. So you will have one tab that's opened and logged into Facebook and on the other tab you want to type in business.facebook.com so that brings you to the front screen. And when you're ready just click on Create Account. So because you've got your Facebook page opened in another tab, this should pre fill for you to then just click login. So the next screen you'll be taken to will be just to fill in all of your business details. So you do need to fill in this really carefully because it stays and it's going to be the business that's associated with your personal login. So you'll be asked for your business name, your own name, and then use an appropriate and associated business business email to attach to the account. This should then just take you through. You'll have opened up your business manager and it will start to prompt you to do all sorts of things. I will be talking through the next steps in future videos, but for now I'd recommend you just bookmark the URL so you don't find it difficult to access your business manager next time. If at any point you are struggling with this, then just click on the blue button in the maybe dashboard and we will be able to help you.
