How to show customer experience through social media

Travel agents can turn thank-you gifts like chocolates or flowers into short videos, tag the business, and post them as authentic proof that builds trust with new customers. Use a content calendar to plan posts and check how often competitors like airlines post on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Today we're looking at how to show off customer experience using social media. Now normally businesses use a lot of testimonials and customer generated content, but this worldwide travel agents and what they've done here is that they were sent a box of chocolates and a card and a little flower for, from a customer for having such a good customer experience. And what they've done is they've done like a little boomerang here. They've tagged themselves in and you know, I guess although there's no written customer review, it's a great way to show a customer's appreciation so potential clients can see that they're trustworthy. You know, if you've taken the time to actually send a travel agent a box of chocolates, card and a flower, you know, then you've had an incredible experience. So I think that that speaks even more volumes than you know, it would if you actually just had like a bog standard testimonial. So I think it's always important to make sure that you're celebrating the little things on social media as well as the bigger things. So make sure that you are, you know, if a customer writes your thank you card or a customer thanks you in any way, shape or form, make sure that you talk about it. Because not only, you know, is it good for the customer, they feel appreciated. It just really builds up that trust. Now if I was these guys, one of the things that I'd be doing is making sure that I scheduled in as much of my content as possible. And the best way of doing that is going into content, going to content calendar where you can actually look at everything that you've got scheduled in for the course of the week. But then you can also schedule in some new posts as well. But the other thing they can do is they could choose any other travel agent and they could pop it in here and they can compare their calendar. So it might be, it might be another independent or it might be, you know, like a big, I don't know, like a big business or it could even be, I don't know, like a, like a Ryanair or something like that. You know, if they're looking at flights. But it means that what they can do is start to look at, you know, the types of posts that they're posting and they can look at, you know, are they using Murphy, Facebook or using more Instagram or Twitter and get a little bit more inspiration as well for their posts. Now as always, if you've got any questions, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
