Today we're looking at how to hone in on what is happening now for people to connect on a more personal level on social media. Now, this is University of Greenwich. As you can see, Greenwich University. They like to talk about their students, they like to talk about what they're doing, like to talk about the local area. But I absolutely love this post. And this is because they're talking about what is going on now, what actually is genuinely affecting people, what are genuinely affecting their students. And they're talking about tackling the main worries of student life right now. So here we go. So what I love about that is they are recognizing that there's a cost of living cris. They're recognizing that that will really affect students. And, you know, they're likely to even be able to manage university. How do they work? How do they pay for their. How do they pay for their rent? How do they cover cost, general cost of living? They understand that universities scale enough for people, so they're tackling all the main worries about university in one reel. But they're showing that they're here to help and support the new and the current students. And so they've given a whole load of different things like bursaries and grants and different ways of showing that. And they've done it in the actual post, but showing obviously, you know, the area as well, and showing the actual campus, which again, just gives you, like a real feel for the fact that, you know, that they're really focused on meeting people where they are. And it's then giving you the website at the end to tell you, I guess, you know, that where you need to go to get the further support as well. Obviously you can't click into that from Instagram, but at the very least, you know where to go. And then when you've gone past the reel and you go into the content, it just says, as the cost of living rises, we want to reassure you that we can help. Whether you need budgeting advice or interested in learning about support and bursaries and scholarships, we're here to support you. Now, I absolutely love it because it is topical, it is of the now. It meets people where they are, they are being helpful, they are being supportive, and that drives connection, but also it drives engagement. And it means that people are much more likely to get, to get behind it. And as you can see, you can see, like local accounting firms who are reaching out in response back to it to see if they can help. So, I mean, it engages businesses, it engages students, it engages everyone. Now, if I was the University of Greenwich. What I would want to be doing is really understanding. So if that really works, what else in my social media work? So I would go to my maybe platform, I go to the Insight summary and I would click on here, it would be the University of Greenwich. Now, in there you can get a full report on how your social media is performing. You can view your ads and you can view your conversations. That's all your posts across all of the social media channels. But then you can also see the followers that you've got across all the channels, the posts across them. You can see the engagements, the post per day, engagements per post. You can even go into the best post as well. So you can see what your best performing post was in that week and you can view your calendar. So basically it means that if you're sitting down and you were talking about how well your social media is performing, you can just go in here and see at a glance without having to go into all the individual channels. Now, if you've got any questions whatsoever, click on the little blue button. We love to help it.
