How to use imagery to drive bookings on social media

A permanent-makeup salon in Wokingham used a high-quality Instagram post of a step-mom's lip treatment to drive bookings. The tutorial shows how to use lighting and composition to showcase salon work, then walks through the "maybe" analytics platform to track follower growth, engagement, and your best-performing posts.

Today we're looking at how you can use eye catching imagery to drive bookings. So this is Eyebrow Inc. And they are based in Wokingham and here they say that they are specialists in permanent makeup accredited beginning training academy one to one courses. They're obviously promoting their makeup treatments but they also want to sort of entice people to book courses with them to learn how to do it themselves. And one of the ways that they've done that really beautifully here is actually by its eye catching imagery. So it says here, hello, beautiful lips. Got my hands on my stepmom's lip. She was so pleased with the lip flush results. They go into the detail about the actual, the sort of product and also the service itself and how it works and what, what it looks like. They go into giving you, I guess a lot more information and then it's saying if you wear tinted lip balm every day, you need this treatment. Contact us for more information or click to book now in our bio and but really, let's face it, it's this absolutely gorgeous picture which almost looks so, you know, like sort of doll, like how perfect it all is. And you know that if anything would entice anybody to want to look at something and want to book it and you know, to, to book a service. But then the fact that they've enticed them with this, they've been going into detail and I think what's lovely is she said that it's her stepmom so it shows it's personal and her stepmom's trusted her with it. And then it's gone into further detail that how you can actually book it. So when you're thinking about using imagery, if you want to try bookings, make sure you use the best possible imagery, the best possible lighting to really show off, you know, what your salon or what, you know, I guess you know, that your business can do. Now if I was Library Inc. One of the things that I'd want to do is start to understand, you know, they obviously spend a lot of time on social media. I want to understand really quickly how well it's performing for me. So I would go on to the maybe platform and in the maybe platform you can click on listening, go to insight summary. So rather than going into really deep dive, report at a glance you can see how social media is performing. So, so they can start to go into, they can create a report, they can start to look at followers, they can look at how many posts they're doing, how much engagement they're getting. Engagement per day. They can look at engagement across the across the course of the month. They can start to understand if they're posting X, they're only getting Y. What is the difference? They can look at their best post and they can even see their content calendar. So they can start to schedule a new content. Or indeed, they can start to compare their contact calendar to that of anybody else's as well. Now, as always, if you've got any questions at all, click the little blue button. We'd love to help.
