Today we're looking at how to use photography to promote your venue on social media. Now, this is a wedding venue and what they want to do, obviously, is to promote their wedding venue to couples who are looking to get married. And actually for them, it's not all about the actual site itself. It's about the locations around it that, that people can go to to get some stunning photography done. And as you can see, what they do really, really well is they take the couple's photography who've been there before from locations around the, around the site and then they create a really beautiful post from it. So here you can see sunset. The first stab of love is like a sunset, a blaze of color, oranges, pearly pinks and vibrant purples. So that again is really romantic. It is a quote. And then they've just said beautiful locations like this are just a short Dr. From our gar venue DM to book your exclusive private tour. And then they've tagged in the photographer, which is brilliant. And then they've done some really lovely hashtags so that you know exactly where they're at. And that got a lot more engagement than a lot of their other posts. And then again, they've done exactly the same here, which is again, they've tagged in the photographer, they've talked, they've done a really lovely quote again here. So you can see it works for them really, really well. It's all about, I guess, inspiration. It is inspir people to book because of what's around them and because of the stunning photos that they can get. And actually the photos are one of the biggest things when you're getting married. So it's a natural selling point. Now, one of the things that I would do if I was this venue is I would want to make sure that I guess my social media was working for me. They obviously spend a lot of time and effort on it and I'd want to make sure that I was spending time and effort on the right things. So with the insight summary on, maybe what you can do is they can set up, start to get a very quick snapshot of how things are working so they can look at how many followers they've got very quickly. They can see how many posts they're doing on a regular basis, the engagement rate they're getting. You can even see the engagement rate per post and per day so that you can again understand, you know, if you're doing say three posts a week and you're only getting one engagement. Well, what is that? Is that because you're not posting the right content, or is it that you need to change something? Is it that you're not focusing on the right channels? It just gives you an understanding very quickly over what's working and what's not and helps you tweak it. Now, as always, if you've got any questions at all, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
