How to use progress pics on social media

Kink Construction uses Instagram progress photos with hashtags like #swimmingpool and #TunbridgeWells to reach local customers and build trust. The Maybe dashboard lets construction firms compare metrics against competitors and generate AI captions to keep posting consistent.

Today we're looking at how to use hashtags on social media to publicize what you do. This is the Kink Construction company, and they use Instagram mainly as a way of showing a lot of progress of their job. So they show the kind of before and afters, they show the during, and then they show how amazing it always looks. And one of the things that they've done here is this is a progress photo. And I think what I really, really love about it, I mean, clearly they're doing something incredible in an absolutely huge place. But what I really love is that they've kept everything really simple. So here it is just an image. And then what they've done is they have only done hashtags, as you can see. So this actually got a fair amount of engagement in comparison to some of their other posts. It got more engagement than many of the other ones. And I think one of the reasons why is because progress photos are. Is something that I guess people buy into because they build up trust. But I guess what they've done here is they've used hashtags like progress photo, which is obviously more generic. But they've done swimming pool, obviously they're building a swimming pool. They've done the kind of stone, they've done architecture extension, new build, they've done Tunbridge Bells, which is where it is. They've done Kent. So again, anybody who's looking within those areas for a swimming pool or any kind of construction or design is more likely to find them by looking at these kind of hashtags. So the hashtags very much point people in the direction of A, what they're doing, B, where they are, and see the types of things that people are going to be looking for in terms of other services that these guys do. Now, if I was the kid construction company, one of the things I'd want to do is make sure that I was on top of social media. So I would go to the maybe dashboard, and on the maybe dashboard, you can see that on the left they can have themselves, and on the right they could add in literally any other construction company. And then they can start to compare and contrast. They can see their social media stats versus someone else's social media stats, and they can start to see what's working for them in terms, and they can look at things like sentiment. But some of the amazing other things that they can do on the dashboard are that they can actually start to build up content. So here you can actually create a selection of posts where they could write using our new AI software. And it could be something as simple as I want to write a post about building swimming pools and our new AI technology will actually help write it for them and they can even do sent it can change lots of other fun things about it. Now as always, if you've got any questions at all, click on the little blue button here. We'd love to help.
