Today we're looking at how you can show the human side of your business on social media to better connect with your customers. This is Duran's hair and Beauty salon and as you can see, they're always showing their stunning customers and the beautiful hairdos once they've done them. And what I love is this post because it's got more engagement than most of their other posts and it's actually because it's their team. So here they're celebrating at the Salon Awards and they won four awards that they were in the finals for and they had a fantastic evening. And she's just saying, you know, that they're very proud of their team and consider themselves very lucky to work with such talented, hard working, loyal group of amazing people. I absolutely love this because you can see that it's a proper team effort. The team are happy, they're excited, they are, you know, absolutely loving. And the fact that, you know, they've won, so they're truly celebrating. But what is great is actually the post itself. So they're saying, you know, just how proud they are and they consider themselves really, really lucky to be part of a talented, hard working team and they're excited for the following year. And I think that that really shows the connection, it really shows that they're a great place to work and I think it brings a real personal feel and sense of community because it kind of invites us into their world a little bit, encourages people to tag their congratulations, which would be, you know, current and potential clients. And as you can see, people, people love celebrating. People love whenever there's a, you know, an award or you're celebrating your team, people love saying congratulations. So if you do win any awards or there's like that, always make sure that you do actually celebrate it on social media. But if your team's done anything at all, always just make sure that you're showcasing them because look, this is fantastic and if I, I would have probably gone one step further and even tagged in the team members and mentioned them by name and just to give that little bit of extra oomph. But all in all, honestly, it's just such a good post and it really just shows that human side of the business and it helps people connect with them on a different level. Now if I was these guys, I would want to be making sure that I was making the most of my time. So you can actually schedule in using Content Calendar so they can go into maybe and go into Content Calendar and they can actually schedule in posts ahead of time and you can also compare your calendar. So they could literally click in here and compare it to any other business. So it might be, you know, a big business, like, you know, like a, you know, an ASOS or something. Or they might actually want to choose to compare their social media calendar to any other local hairdressers or one, you know, that might be down the road. Something like that might be a direct competitor. But what's great about that is you can get to have a view of as to your own content, everything that you've got scheduled in, and then you can look at the previous week's content from the other brands. You can start to see, do they use more Facebook, do they use more Twitter, what's working for them, what's not, and just start to build up a picture. But as I say, it also makes sure that they can really save time by focusing on engagement and then just scheduling everything in ahead of time. Now, as always, if you've got any questions at all, click on the little blue button. We'd love to help.
