Today we're looking at how you can use captions to entice people to engage more with your content. Now this is Rococo chocolates and as you can see, they obviously make chocolate but one of the things that they've done is they've introduced these scorched almonds. And I mean obviously the picture itself, it looks delicious but it's just such a great way to show that they're known, I guess, you know, introducing a new product. Obviously they're known for chocolates, but this is something different. It's got great coloring, it sort of catches the eye. But I guess what I really love is actually about the caption. The caption says pepper your self care routine with a tasty morsel or two, starting with one of our best sellers. So we're talking about the almonds and they've really gone into loads of detail about how delicious they are. And then what's more, these treats are vegan. So it's all about being healthy, healthier than maybe some of their other snacks, but inviting you to, I guess, you know, it's part of like a self care. So you know, the caption for me is all about self care and I think it's capturing people at the right time. So this was done in the January when people have obviously maybe overindulged over a festive period. So they're trying to introduce new healthy things into their diet. So it's the perfect kind of caption to capture people's attention. It means they're much more likely to get engaged with it. And as you can see, people are saying I need to order some and people have gotten really engaged with it. And as you can see as well, they've used really good hashtags here which is all about self care. So I guess they're trying to kind of like reposition themselves a little bit after a busy festive season and trying to attract new people to, to get engaged with them. So yeah, it's a really, really strong post. Now if I was Rococo, I would want to be making sure that I understood how social media was working for me. So I would look at my insights. So here you could go to your maybe account, go to listening, go to summary. And here I would see all my followers across all of the channels. I would see how many posts I've been doing, I can see the number of engagements, I can see how many posts per day that I'm doing. But I can also then start to look at, you know, so if I'm doing, you know, how many engagements am I getting per post? How many engagements am I getting per day? And then actually view my best post as well. So if you start consistently getting, you know, this, the same sort of posts that are doing well, then obviously you'd want to do more of them. Then I can even go in and view my calendar so I can see what's worked before and I can also in new posts and schedule them in as well. Any questions whatsoever, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
