It is just as important showing you outside of the business as within for connection

Callum runs Symphony Cycling in Islington and builds customer loyalty by joining community rides and sharing personal moments on social media, not just shop content. The Mary platform tracks his engagement across channels, showing that humanizing the brand drives shares and sales.

Today we'll look at how showing what you do out of the business is just as important as within it. Symphony Cycling is an independent bike shop. They're based in Islington and everything for them is about attracting road bike enthusiasts back to their shop within a certain radius of their business. To do that, owner Callum here has joined a load of cycling communities events and really got involved with brands and businesses in the area to drive more local awareness to the right people, AKA cycling enthusiasts. Callum showed here that when he went out on a group cycle with a local cycling community and he tagged them in the content, he talked about his ride and the ups and downs and had a great picture of him having fun. It really showed the human side of his business and that is someone who loves raiding sweet much that he created a store. This drives connection. So the people who follow him will see that just like them, he loves bikes. So as people buy from people, they're much more likely to be interested in his content by tagging who he's with, he then comes up in their feeds to their followers. And of course, as road cycling community, they're much more likely to be people who will want to buy from him as well and then is much more likely to be shared by them and then attract people right back to his feedback. So for me, it's showing that what you're doing outside of the office, whether it's an event or whether it's a hobby or just walking the dog, people buy from people, so let them get to know you. So if I was Callum, I would want to have a look at my insight summary on Mary. So you go to listening and insight summary. And what this does is this would give Callum not only a full understanding of how he's performing across all of his social media, this would be how many followers he has, posts, engagements, posts per day, engagement per day, his best post. So you would look at which is the best performing post in that time frame. He can also view his own calendar, he can also go in and look at his conversations, he can look at all the posts that he's generating across every platform as a conversation, he can look at his insights. You can go in and go into a report, for example here, where it would take you to a full report and a full breakdown. So I guess basically taking the dashboard and making it a little bit deeper. And then you can also look at your ads as well. And then if you've created any groups in there, you can start going in and engaging with them. So it might be that you've got a load of groups with all of the cycling communities that you're part of, and you want to make sure that you're constantly going in and engaging with them on a regular basis. Now, if you've got any questions whatsoever, click on the little blue button. Love to help.
