Foreign. So these are the things we're going to cover today. So we are going to look at taking people on a journey through imagery and captions. I'm not going to go into detail on any of that until we start moving along. We are going to look at how to encourage tagging through fear of missing out. What we are going to look at how pets add value on social media for places in particular, how to leverage collaborations and multiple channels. And then we're going to look at. We're going to look at a few other things as well, but we're also going to look at then some content ideas for the next few weeks, because every week we look at the upcoming national campaigns, national hashtags, all that kind of thing, and then we look at how you might be able to apply those to your business. Or indeed, as we're talking about today, is for anybody who has just joined us. So we talk every week about how you can prioritize your channels by learning from your competitors. And basically, I wanted to show you how I find a lot of this great stuff today. So I go into the maybe platform and I go in and look at Engage Engagement section and I can look at groups. So these are all the groups that I obviously have created in here. But then I can also look at location, as we've discussed. You know, you can engage with businesses within your location. But the other thing that we've done is we have already created national content for you. So we basically pull together sectors. So there's Here you can see there's like the food and drink sector, there might be health and wellness sector, hospitality businesses, things like that. All you need to do is click on it. When you go into Engage and you choose to compare yourself or add a business or something like that, you click on it and then it'll give you the option, if you want to choose to start looking at all of the, basically the top engaged businesses within a sector. So this is how I pulled this together. That one you're looking at just now is for food, but I pulled this stuff together looking places, so it basically comes up with beds, councils, Visit X, you know, those kind of destination management organizations. And that is basically I pull it all together. So 79.1% of consumers in the UK spend over one hour a day on social media and only 19% of businesses have active social media accounts. So this is something we're desperately trying to change. And, I mean, I've been doing these webinars for, I think, nearly three years now, and we honestly like Bang on about this all the time. And don't get me wrong, whilst it most businesses have got a better level of social, I know most of the time it is just because you don't have the time. So we're trying to basically make it as easy as humanly possible for you guys to create excellent content, learn from what you're doing by, you know, looking at what other people are doing and then upskill as well. And we do this because we help over 25,000 businesses do that. So we help you compare your social media performance with any other business and you can use all the social media tools and insight to create and to use social media effectively. You get access to expert resources and training which is all the stuff that we do in the background. So the little videos where you hear my dulcet tones popping up, that is all recorded in the background and uploaded onto the system for you guys to use. So please do and we're going to get cracking. So today we are looking at Visit Canterbury as a number one. So let's take a little look. So I've done anyone from Canterbury on, but it would be lovely if you are and if not feel free to pop in the Q and A button and let me know where you're from and ask any questions. So this just going to move my face out of the way. So this is Visit Canterbury and I think most British people absolutely love a good old cozy pub and I think even anybody who's coming from maybe abroad would love as kind of quintessential English or British pub. And so those who want to visit Britain dream of seeing like the kind of pubs they've seen in the movies and that kind of thing. And I think nothing looks more kind of picturesque and very English if you like. Did I say so as this? So this is the Shakespeare and good old 5 Butchery Lane and it's an absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous picture, gorgeous old pub. And it's the kind of thing that they would have seen in maybe like an old fashioned movie. And the image for me just brings the fantasy to life. Emmett is all about the image they have. They've gone through, you know, their kind of historic images. They've had a look here, you can see at Wonder Soul travel. So they would look at people who've traveled and taken travel photography. They've looked at photographers, they've looked at videographers and they've chosen this as their piece of content. That is a way of drawing people in by showing, I guess, you know, like a really iconic pub within a Place I've seen that pub I've never been in, but I have seen it before. It's lovely. And by I guess showing something like that, not only you're going to draw the eye from people who are maybe just having a look at say visit Canterbury or your local website. So it's going to draw them in, but other businesses around that pub will benefit from this. The more engagement this, this post gets, the more that the local florist, the local beauty salon, the local restaurants and things like that will benefit from it. Because naturally, if people flock down to the pub, they also need other things while they're there or they're coming to visit the local hotel. Local hotel should be publicizing this pub. So I like that they, they sort of use this and they kind of mention the pub themselves. So it says, you know, we do enjoy our pretty city center pubs. Canterbury has plenty of historic bars and taverns where you can escape the cold weather, such as the tagged in the Shakespeare, which is captured here by @WanderSoultravel. Now, this isn't tagged now. I think this is because they might have done it through trying to do their Facebook handle and not maybe, sorry, their Instagram handle and maybe not their Facebook handle. So when you're tagging, it might just be just having a wee look and making sure that when you're doing multiple posts or you're scheduling them in, make sure you've got the right tag. Because again, if I was Wander Soul Travel, I might then not see this because I've not been tagged. So I might not know that, you know, you've used one of my images, for example. The whole point is that you're using an image that's been captured by either a local person or someone that's maybe like a travel blogger or someone that lives locally or it might be a tourist and it means that they're much more likely to go, oh my goodness, you know, that's exciting. They shared my, that my image so I'll reshare it. But also it means that they, they are being thanked for their image. So it's just making sure that, you know, you're always tagging the right person. But other than that, it's a really, really good one. So I like what would inside and of course what I would do is I would try and encourage as many people to do to comment on this. So if I was visit Canterbury, if I was asking what you would order inside, I would make a statement of maybe I'd even like put in the menu or Put in, you know, like what the top three pints were or things like that, which again, you can usually find from Facebook or you can find from their website, but again, just kind of like adds that, oh, I need to go down there. That sounds great. Also, people love giving opinions. One person will say, I don't know, an ale. Another person will say, oh, no, I don't know, I hate ale. I only want, I don't know, like a really fresh cold lager or something like that. But if you give people an option, you know, what would be your favorite pint? This or this? What would be your favorite glass of wine? This or this? What would be your favorite food on the menu? This or this. So that's just a way of elevating that even further because whilst you're asking people to do something, you're encouraging people to do it by giving them options. So again, you could have added to that picture and done a little carousel and added in some of the food and some of the drinks and things like that to tempt you in. But other than that, it's a really cracking post because it's about boosting engagement. It's about bringing together, I guess, a sense of community by supporting small businesses, which is what Visit Canterbury needs to be doing. And it's using local photography or, you know, user generated content if you like, to actually attract people down. So really simple, really easy. And if I was any business in that area, I'd be making sure I'm following Visit Canterbury. You can add them onto your maybe account, for example, and making sure I'm engaging with that because the more that you engage with this, the more that they'll engage back with you, the more that you're driving more people down to your business. And I like here, someone said that my first ever paint and they're 14 years old. Again, if I was Visit Canterbury, I would, I would like respond back to that. I would even tag in the Shakespeare so that they've seen it. You know, it's just, it's little, little things go a long way when it comes to social media. So some are very different. Now we are in North Wales, so we are looking at Visit North Wales. So this is on Instagram and it's a reel. And what we'll do is we'll do what we usually do and we'll watch it first and then we'll do a little bit of commentary on it. Okay, so I'll put, put down the music for a minute. But basically that either will be your idea of heaven or your idea of hell. So this is what is great about social media, is that you can capture the. You know, the most exhilarating thing in the world will be someone else's worst nightmare and then vice versa. But guess what? It gets commentary and people love it. So this is Visit North Wales. And obviously they want people, funnily enough, to visit North Wales. And they have. They've done this. This reel is obviously not from them. This is at Bearded Man Adventures. Here we go. Bearded Men Adventures. So that is a separate account and that is clearly the group that organize this. And then they've tagged in the. The pinned the location to say where it was and they've typed them in. So the idea would be if I was them and I'm using their content, then they'll go, oh, great, they're using my content. Brilliant. So I'm. If I'm them, I'm much more likely to reshare that saying, check out visit North Wales. If I'm North Wales, visit North Wales. I'm. I'm supporting a local business, ultimately the end of the day. But I'm also giving people a reason to visit. This is literally the reason for having the Instagram look. So you have an Instagram, if you are a place because you want to issue off the place, it's your digital shop window. But you need great photography. You really need good videos, you need good reels, you need all of it. I mean, that's stunning. Look at that. And that will be from, you know, the likelihood of that being from, you know, like somebody there is very small. It will be from a local photographer, local videographer, local customers or travelers, people hiking, all that kind of thing. So it's about using the content that you have available from these businesses. And so it's a good quality video. It shows everybody having a blooming great time again, you know, that's either your. I actually would love to do something like that. But yeah, it's not everyone's idea of, you know, a great time. But clearly that what is what they're trying to attract is they're trying to attract the people who are going to love that. So looking for activities in North Wales. Here's an idea for you. Who's up for it with the little hand and then the tag them in. So the likelihood is then they. If they share that, then they're going to get all these people commenting going, oh, my God, you know, I'm featured in the video. I love that. You know, like, if I was at Bearded Men Adventures, that would have tagged in, you know, in the original post, maybe everybody that was already, you know, everybody that was on that group, for example. So that then, you know, again, it's all about resharing, it's all about engagement, it's all about reach. And I guess what it does is it encourages people to comment and tag a friend that they want to visit with. So who's up for it? As you said, how do I book things like that and visiting in me looking exactly for activities like that. As you can see, they've responded back, the tagged her in and they've tagged in bearded men adventures and then they've wrote back. So this is what it's all about. It's all about collaboration. So you, if you're bearded men adventures, you need to be on top of your tags, you need to be on top of who's tagging you, where they're tagging you. Commenting back, because that is a booking that you might have missed because they wouldn't have known to search for them, but they're searching for visit North Wales, saying, it looks, it looks awesome. Almost as good as my dog sledding. People are absolutely loving it. Wonder with whittle, what are you saying? So clearly they've tagged. They're tagging in somebody that they want to go. They responded back saying, you don't need to ask me twice, let's get it sorted. So that to me shows Instagram works. They have done a real visiting Northwest North Wales. Sorry, have shared it. And then all these people are booking. That's an extra, what, four or five bookings that they might not have had because they wouldn't have known to look for that activity. So this is where it is all about places making sure that you are keeping on top of the businesses within your area and tagging them in and taking their content and resharing it as your own. And I'll show you how to do this on maybe, if you like, but it is the easiest way of making sure that you are driving people to your place. And also if I'm any other business, if you think about it, if I'm visiting North Wales, I need somewhere to stay, don't I? Hotels should be engaging with this, glamping camper vans. Whoever should be engaging with this, guess what? I also need somewhere to go and eat when I'm in North Wales. Local restaurants, local cafes. Anybody in this area should be engaging with this because guess what? They're all. Look, all these people are coming to visit. They're all making bookings. You need to let them know, guess what? While you're there, guys come down and have, you know, a coffee and a cake, something like that, after, you know, you dry off. So this is why it's so important to be following your places and for places to make sure that they are following all the businesses in their place. It's such a good reel and it means you're not having to keep coming up with extra content. Next one is a dog. I might be color. I might be completely and utterly in love. Everyone was a lover dog. My dog regularly features on these webinars, much to my dismay. This is Oakley and this is. We're looking at Devon County Council. So let's take a wee look at it. So this is on Facebook this time. We've done a couple on Instagram. Let's go to Facebook and. Well, basically, first of all, who doesn't love dogs, right? And if you say you don't, I, I will challenge that. Right? Most people love dogs and even if you don't, the majority of people do. And Facebook loves dogs, Instagram loves dogs. Twitter, Tick Tock, all of them love dogs. Excuse me. So this is Devon County Council. And then what they've done is meet Oakley, the latest recruit at Ottery St. Mary Library. Oakley's past his pets as therapy assessment and he can't wait to come to the library to listen to children read stories to him follow. And then they've tagged in the library for more details on these sessions. Now, first of all, the image itself has come from the library. So you can see that there, that, that little green symbol has come from the library. So they have posted this. The Devon County Council has done the right thing because they follow the local library because, well, they need to. So they then have seen that and gone. Brilliant. Everyone else who's following our posts need to know about this. Great. They have then re shared it. So it is content that is done by effectively a local business or local organization. You're not having to come up with the content, you're taking it, resharing it. Because people need to know about this incredible service. Everyone loves a dog, so they're naturally going to get more engaged in it. Anyway, it's a super cute little post. You're supporting the local library. It is a win, win, win, win, win. You know, like, what is there not to love about this post? So they've done the right thing as well. They've tagged in the library so the library can then reshare as well. And that's had, you know, 87 engagements, a couple of comments and free reshares. That's actually quite a lot for a local council. I know it doesn't sound an awful lot, but as we know, councils can get a really bad rep sometimes and it can be really, really difficult being a council, having to post, you know, quite a lot of quite dry subjects, isn't it? Bins, a lot of things that annoy people, let's face it, sadly, road closures, all that kind of stuff. How nice is it to be able to support your local organizations, local charities, local really lovely things that are happening and no one's going to get annoyed at a really lovely picture of a dog. So I think the moral of this story is make sure that even in your place, you're following things like the liability, even your local citizens advice if they're putting on stuff for, I don't know, sessions for, I don't know, help with, I don't know, managing your bills and things like that. No matter what business you are, you're all going to be affected by the current economic crisis. So. And everyone is. All of your businesses are, because all of your patrons are. So whether you're a restaurant, whether you're a cafe, whether you're a beauty salon, you resharing things from all of these places, saying, you know, like, there's sessions down here or, you know, if you need any help, blah, blah, blah. It only adds value and only connects with your people on a much more, you know, on a much more trustworthy basis. I'm going to trust you more if you do more of this kind of things. You're not trying to sell to me all the time, you're actually giving me added value. And guess what? The businesses, the charities, the local organizations will only thank you by reshading your stuff, commenting on it, and you never know, you might spark a bit of a collaboration out of it, but it's making sure that you are finding content that is relevant to your, to the people in your area. And that is what Devon County Council have done. They've not created the content, they've reshared it and they've tagged in the right, the relevant people. Absolute winner. Really, really good. As always. If you've got any questions, guys, do let me know. So this is Worcestershire Council and this was a competition, so they did a cover photo competition, which, as we know, competitions are such a good way to boost engagement. What I'm going to do is go in and show you it first. Here we go. So this is the COVID photo competition winner. So our Lovely spring cover photo comes courtesy of Liz Cowley, who submitted her photo via Facebook. Thanks, Liz. The bright blossoming flowers have really put spring in our step. Huge thank you to everyone who entered our competition. We can't wait to share some of your entries and fill our feet with bright colors. So what they did was the. They did a competition on both channels. I think it was where they wanted people basically to submit their, you know, amateur photography, if you like. So, you know, like local photography, local amateur photographers, people who just lived in the area that are maybe out dog walking, things like that, who celebrate their place and love their place and want, you know, maybe take some gorgeous pictures as they're out and about. Obviously, your Worcestershire, their job is to drive people down to, you know, like, down to these local, like, you know, historic sites, down to the fields, you know, they want to drive people out and about around the area. So what better way of doing it and not having to come up with your own content than asking other people to do it to themselves? It is such a lovely concept. So quite literally, there's no reason why any other local business couldn't share this, say, congratulations, Liz, on that. Well done. Reshade it saying, you know, that we absolutely love this iconic building. Or it might be, you know, look at, look at these blossoming flowers. It's really put a spring in our step. Whether, you know, as I say, you could be any business in the local area, you can reshare that. And it is about celebrating place. And also, if you're, you're Worcestershire, as it said here, doing a competition not only kind of gives you a bit of engagement and things like that at the time, but. But it also is going to save you so much time on content because you're not going to have to come up with all your new content. I would also make sure you tag in the place if you can, you know, if it's got obviously an account or even just put a pin in where it might be, like, give the location so that people who don't know the area can go down and visit that, because that's gorgeous. I would 100% go for a little wander around there. So there's a few things there. It is about making sure that you, if you do a competition, do something like that, get people to submit something, whether it's a drawing or whether it's, I don't know, a recipe or it might be, I don't know, a top tip for, I don't know, surviving something. I don't know, the winter, the Summer, whatever it might be, and then get them to submit it. And then look, they're going to share some of the entries and fill the feeds with the bright color. So they are going to be using all the entries and they're going to reshare it throughout, you know, however long, the next, you know, few months. So they repeatedly have lots of content. It's all user generated content. So they can tag them in, which is going to give them extra reach, extra engagement. But it also means that they don't have to come up with content. It's brilliant. And then that only helps you if you're a local business, you can then reshare that content. And again, you're not coming up with content, you're also celebrating your local place. You're going to come up in your Worcestershire's feed. They're going to then thank you for engaging with them. It is all about collaboration, people celebrating places, places celebrating people. And user generated content is honestly one of the best ways of creating that kind of really super engaging Instagrams and Facebook. And I think what I also liked is they said that she submitted it via Facebook, so they might be showing it on Instagram, but she submitted it by Facebook. So again, you might not have seen it. So you might then want to go back and check out their Facebook. So it is, it's lovely, really lovely. We are whizzing through today, so we've got loads of content here today. So this is Chelmsford. This is Chelmsford for you. And they are a bid. And what they've done is they've done unreal. So I'm just going to take a look at it. So this is chance for you. So it's short, simple, really good colors. What they're doing is they're not only using it to promote the local podcast, but also brings awareness to the local hospice and brings business to the local charity shop, if you like. That raises money for said hospice. So it says we're so excited for the chance for takeover. On Saturday, 18th of March, we join forces with Essex cosplayers for this one and it's all in aid of amazing at Havens Hospices. So again, cosplay. So that's cosplay. So again, that's why they're looking at superheroes. So again, that's quite, you know, like, I guess a niche market, but it means that it's kind of going to. People are going to love it. It's. It'll be exciting, it will be engaging, it'll be something to get involved in. And as you can see, this is what it look like. So you get. So this is a bit like, you know, like a kind of have you ever seen Comic Con event? If you haven't, it's this kind of things. It's all, everything, all superheroes and what they're doing is they've joined forces and it's all in aid of raising money for at Havens Hospices. They've tagged in the cause players, they've tagged in the even Havens Hospices, which is amazing. So again it shows you that you know you're much good, you're going to be much more interested in something if it's supporting a local organization or charity. And then it says in our next podcast, they've tagged in both of the hosts to chat with the incredible fundraising team from Little Havens inside their pre loved store. So they've got a little pre loved store, obviously, basically secondhand lovely goods which they're selling in eight of the hospice. And so it's everything arriving on the Friday. And then the filmmakers are be inspired media. So again they've tagged them in. So whilst it's a professional film, anyone could do this. If you have an event coming up, if you have a campaign coming up, if you have something to do with charities, something like that. So whether you link up with a local business and you know, if they get featured in it, you know, they might, you know, give you a bit of a deal on it and maybe you link up with a local student who needs to use videography as part of their course and so they're willing to gift it to you as part of their court, their coursework, or you buy, or you buy. In fact, I've got one here. Buy something like these. Don't know whether you can see this. There's little ring lights, there's little, little tripods. And then what you do is you set up your phone, you attach it to said ring light, said I. I said tripod. And then you point it at the people and you talk. Super, super simple. Doesn't cost you any money other than a few pounds for whoever, you know, something like that. But it means that it looks professional, sounds professional. And guess what? Phones can do amazing things these days. So if you can't afford the videography, do it yourself. And then literally you upload a video like this to Canva or any of the other video editing programs and you bookend it with a logo and a logo. It takes no time at all to do something like this. But to me that Looks professional, sounds professional. It would make me definitely want to go down and find out more about it. The fact that they've tagged in everybody again increases their reach, increases their engagement. The fact that it's about, you know, they've made it very clear what it's for. I would have loved to have found it a little bit more, I guess, about what they're doing. So whilst it's created fomo, I would love to have seen maybe in the post, you know, like, I don't know, something a bit more superhero maybe. But other than that, I think it's an incredible way of, I guess, tempting people to tune in so that they can find out more. And as you can see, they've done all the branding and everything around it, which again is dead easy to do as a template. So it is on top of this, you know, it's like tagging people. So it's about tagging, it's about collaboration, it's about making it clear what the message is, AKA we want you to know that we're doing this and when. And it raises awareness of the podcast, it raises awareness of the Reloved store. And the Reach will be engaged with the Reach, engagement will be increased because they've done so much tagging. So such a good idea. But seriously, I cannot say enough how easy it is to do a video like this if you really want to. And it means that you're going to get much more, usually a lot more reach if turn it into a real and then you can get in. Because Instagram, even though the algorithm's changing, it still does favor reels. So make sure that you do, you do use reels as much as you can. Okay, I think this is last but not least actually. So Sunderland Experience. So here we go. I'm just going to show you this. So we're back to I think Facebook. Facebook. So Sunderland Experience I think is a bed and they are basically straight to the point. Restaurant week starts today. Let's face it, who doesn't love food? We all love food. We all love getting out eating, especially after the last couple of years. That kind of in restaurant experience is, you know, something that we all absolutely adore. So they have, what they've done is they've created a restaurant week. So Sunderland bed have basically teamed up with a bunch of city center eateries and done vouchers. So get your. So you clear said that you, you click on here and you would download vouchers. I imagine it'll be bounce back offers. It'll be, I don't know, percentages off, it'll maybe buy one, get one free. But they've basically gone around and said, we will promote you for a whole week. We want to drive people around the town, so around Sunderland, around the city centre, and we want them to come and eat. So basically they're focused on dining. Now this is something a shopping center could do. This is something a group of businesses could do together. Whether, you know, if you're all on a main street and you want to drive everybody down that particular street or alleyway or whatever it might be, if you're off the beaten track, collaborate with people and do something like this, where collectively you're all promoting it at the same time, which means you're going to get more bang for your buck. So why not check out some of our newest city center eateries? And then they've tagged them all in and you've seen the, the. Delete that. Sorry, the detail as well. So an artisan curry kitchen, Asian tapas recently took over the coffee shop in their store, offering a selection of bagels, bakes and cakes. Wing strips, 10 flavors, six meats and grilled or fried. And then they've got the little carousel, if you like, or the little album almost of, of the food. So it shows you here what they all look like. That is a hundred percent, you know, going to make, you know, it's food porn. That's what it is. Is ultimate, ultimately going to tempt you down. So if you weren't caught by the fact that it's restaurant week and you didn't catch the word vouchers, which means you're going to save something, these images would be enough to make you click on it and go, oh, where is that? What is that? I need to get there. That sounds delicious. So I guess, you know, you're drawn in by the simple, straightforward, straightforward caption. I know exactly what I want, they want me to do. They want me to go on and do the voucher. I get that it's, it's a bid thing, so I get that. Clearly they've all gotten together to, you know, want to celebrate local restaurants and drive more people around the area. So as a local consumer, I would think, wow, that bed's doing great job. And as a local consumer, I might, I might have heard of maybe one or two of these, but I might not have heard of the other one. So I'm more likely to want to go. And then as you can see, people have actually tagged. So here people have been tagging in, obviously. Yeah, you're going to get the odd person that says, you know, they've got an issue. But again, Sunderland experience have gone back to them to say, you know, what each, what individual terms and conditions are, we hope you enjoy the restaurant next week, you know, blah, blah, blah. So they've responded back. So even if you do get something negative, which is inevitable sometimes when it comes to anything is especially to do with food, someone's had a bad experience there, they might, you know, tag someone in. However, it's all about them responding back to them. So keeping on top of your comments, keeping on top of your mentions, keeping on top of your tagging. So again, all of the businesses involved should be taking this and resharing it on their feeds. They should be engaging with us and can't wait to have you all down. They should all be following each other as well because guess what, if you're going to go to one, you're going to go to another another week, you know, so like, you know, people aren't exclusive to one or tend not to be to one particular restaurant. Most people will move around, try different things. And I think it's just a good way of showing businesses or collaborating together and I guess, you know, working together in a, in a nice cohesive fashion in a way that is celebrating place, but actually about driving football and sales. So this, what I guess the measurement of this would be how many vouchers were redeemed. And if this, and if social media is the only way that they promoted it, then you could, you would be able to tell directly that social media influenced sales. You know, so do little tests like this, work with other people, collaborate as much as you can because it really, really, really does work. So this is the part of the day where we look ahead at the national campaigns that are coming up, the national days, and then we come up with some ideas for you guys. Obviously we've talked about places, but if there's businesses on here and if there's any that you want any advice on, honestly, just pop it in the Q and A, I'll be happy to help you. But this is our social media calendar. So here we do this every week. If you've not got it already, just pop it in the Q and A and we'll get one sent to you. But effectively this is for any business place to use. And what this does is we have consolidated and put all of the national days, national hashtags, national campaigns for days, weeks, months or you know, awarenesses, that kind of thing, pop them all onto all these little tabs and then we have done that so that then you guys get basically loads of free extra content. We want to make it as easy for you as possible to get stronger at social and we know that time and content inspiration is usually an issue. So we are going to have a look at April, just, you know, March. We're a good chunk of the way in now. So last week I think we looked at the first few days of April. So I am going to have a little look at some of the later ones. So here we have. Right, that one's in the U.S. parkinson's Awareness Week. Of course, that is a huge one. So if you are, I don't know, I guess if you are someone whose family has been affected by Parkinson's, you might choose this as opportunity to maybe raise a bit of money. So it might be that you put something behind your tail, it might be that you do something on social media, you might do a Bake off or whatever it might be. You might just do something and use that as, you know, I guess your hook to get people talking about it and get people raising awareness. And it might be that you also link them with the local, you know, the, the Parkinson's charity in order to do it. So I think we here is parkinsonscare.org.uk Might be that, you know, don't know, you share some of their content, some of their tips. So, you know, if that's something that's important to you, there's plenty of, you know, disease awareness days. There's plenty of things that I guess that you can look through and go, wow, that really speaks. Speaks to me. I really want to do something in support of that. It also might be, let's have a little look. I mean, there's a huge one, Stop Snoring Week, that's a massive one for quite a lot of people. Now that would be a really good one for people, I guess, you know, to do something. You could, you could, you know, be controversial with it, but you could also be really funny with it as well. It could be you do a series of little gifts throughout the week, you know, like. But you know that what's, you know, like waking up and you haven't had any sleep because your partner has been stored in. It might be the dog storing. You might show videos of it. You might get people to talk about their storing stories, how they've overcome it. You might link up with a local sleep specialist. But quite literally, it doesn't matter whether you sell cakes or whether you are. I don't know a mortgage advisor. The whole point is, is that most people have encountered these kind of things at some point. Therefore it is a talking point. You want people to engage, you want people to discuss. People love having a moan. It's true, we know we do. We all love having a bit of a moan and we all like to do it on social media and what better way of doing it than to give a little hook like that, you know, like, you know, nothing worse than not getting any sleep. So yes, it might be a bit of a trigger for some people, but for most people, they would go, oh my God, that's so my dad, or that's so my sister or you know, things like that. And then I guess, you know, obviously the other one might be International Mother Earth Day. It might be that you're an eco business, it might be that you have eco products or it might be, I guess that you want to focus more on, you know, with this, it's more about, you know, like life and sustenance and it's about, you know, harmony in nature. So it might be that you're maybe more of a holistic therapist and you want to look at energy and things like that. So the idea behind this guys, is for you to take a look through and go, wow, I can 100 do this. I can 100%, you know, come up with something that my team can do or that you just share a gif or share someone else's content. Might be, you know, the local visit X or it might be a local, as I said, you know, a local eco business that you use and you use this as a, as a hashtag. But it's such a good way of planning an extra content that you don't really need to plan, if that makes any sense. Oops. Okay, so remember, we do all this for you the every Monday we have how to use maybe every Tuesday. These are like the live webinars if you like. So similar to this social media basics, we've got our weekly best posts, ads for beginners, advanced ads and on demand training. So that's why my voice is always worse because every week I'm recording a ton of videos for you guys where it's everything from how to do X, how to do real right through to why this butcher up in, I don't know, Liverpool did really well using, I don't know, ads or did really well doing using hashtags. So it's all about breaking down how people do things to help you get better at it and give you some inspiration and Then as usual, we've got all of our social media tools here and so I want to do a bit of a roundup. So a couple of things to think about. So think about your imagery before you post and where you get that imagery. Find imagery from local photographers, local videographers, local artists, local poets. It might be local authors, local user generated content, which usually you can be found through hashtags. So it might be like hashtag, visit Wales hashtag, visit North Wales, hashtag, you know, I don't know, mountain climbing, whales, you know, things like that. And then you're going to find great content that you can reshare as a local business. And then think about what will engage people and what will encourage people to tag. So think about what is likely to get me to do an action to tag in someone else. So for that one, it was all about adventure. So it's a particular niche, people who are looking for something really fun, adrenaline junkies, things like that to do. But for someone else it might be, I don't know, it might be sewing, it might be going for a nice walk with dogs. So thinking about what would encourage you to, to do a thing and then make sure that you're following all the local businesses that do that thing and then make sure you're using it and using the appropriate hashtags and then personalize things. So personalize your content with pets, hobbies, family life. So we've seen the dog obviously at the library, you know, that use things like that to bring to life and sort of, I say human eyes, I know it's a dog, but you know, you get what I'm saying, you know, it's to kind of like bring that personal aspect, I guess, you know, that thing that everybody loves to your content. When you're doing competitions, think of engaging competitions that can provide you content that can have more longevity. So that one, for example, might have been, you know, asking people to give their art in. But think about all the pieces of art throughout the rest of the year. Think of that you can use. I think about the fact that you can tag people in that if, you know, submitted something, you can show the runners up. So you're not having to always think of content. You've almost just got a bank of content that you can use and then it's collaborating and tagging. Make sure that you collaborate. Make sure you, if you do restaurant week or beauty week or, I don't know, eco week, collaborate with other eco warriors in your area. It might be Women's week, you know, off the back of International Women's Day. So local women, women in business, you know, networks, things like that, make sure you collaborate, make sure you tag, and then finally just get set up. If you're not already set up on your channels, set up your account today and actually start doing this, because this is what. Why we're doing it for you guys to keep building up your social media.
