May National Days

Donna Callender shows how to build social-media campaigns around May's national days and awareness weeks. She walks through real examples: Tesco's coronation pop-up pub, a dog-food brand's limited-edition offer, and National Walking Month challenges with the National Trust. The tactics that work are value offers, clear deadlines, dedicated hashtags, and shareable infographics.

Foreign. Everybody. I hope that you're all well, my name is Donna Callender and I am here with you today to have a chat to you about a lot of really cool content that has been created by some nationals and some independence over the month of May. What we're trying to do is bookend the month so we look at the month from before, AKA lots of different businesses that have created some great content. And what we're looking specifically at at the end of each month is looking at national days. So national days are essentially those big either national events or national campaigns or indeed international ones. So we've got everything from the Coronation to Easter to Mother's Day, Father's Day, and then you have smaller campaigns which, which is everything from, you know, take your child to work day to take your dog to work day through to National Donut Day. So what we're trying to do is we've pulled off everything all together in one calendar. We're looking at everything from the previous month. So to give you guys, I guess, you know, some inspiration on what different businesses have done over the course of May, then we're going to look at the month ahead as well to see what's coming up and give you guys, hopefully some guess we'll call it. We get a bit of inspiration, come up with some ideas as well. So what we're going to cover today are PR stunts and how you can show them on social media to drive physical football. So that whole link between digital and physical talk a little bit how the devil is in the detail when it comes to promotion. We're going to look at tagging and collaboration when it comes to a cause. Top tips in infographics and how their social media must haves and just some ideas on how you can use them. Creating challenges on social media and how that can be good for engagement so what that might look like. And then some ideas on being authentic and showing your human side. And we've got loads and loads to cover today, so kind of buckle up, grab a cup of tea and sit down with us as we crack through this. As always, though, if you've got any questions, just pop it in the Q and A button and I'll get to it when I can. If you've got anything in particular that you really want me to cover over the next few weeks, please feel free just to pop it in the chat as well. I would love to hear from you guys and find out more, I guess, about what, what you would like to discuss. So one of the things I wanted to show you, I did give you a little sneak peek of this last week is our new AI function. So let's take a little look. So in maybe now we have been beavering away. I see we are amazing team. I've been beaver away in the background and we have been creating I guess as many things as we possibly can to make your lives easier. To make lives a little bit easier when it comes to creating content, when it comes to I guess you know the tough things that people. People struggle with. One of the biggest things for most people is well, how do I come up with content? What do I need to do? So we've always had this. This is the dashboard. We've always had the ability to be able to look at the content. You've. You've. We added in scheduling so you can schedule it. We added in and that you can reply back to comments across all of your social channels in one place. You know we've always of this but this bit is a new really fun bit. So here is our new AI functions. Please go in and have a little play with this here. You can choose inspire me. So I think what will I do? Wait, so last week I think I showed you. So in here you can create a selection of posts so that basically say you are a shopping center. You can go in there and say, right, okay, I want to create a section of posts. I go in there and then I can say I want to talk about Father's Day and I will help me write Father's Day posts. However, there's other bits here. So there's here you can also do things like what hashtag should we be using? So it will look at the kind of hashtags that should work for your business and then help you pull that together as part of posts. Just move myself out of there. What have been our best post? So that then takes you back to again. It shows you what all your best posts have been and then gives you a bit of an understanding as to then what more you should be doing the best time to post. So I think let's do try this one. Let's have a little play. There we go. So what comes up is our maybe AI little chatbot. It will take a little second guys because we're on zoom. So it just always takes a wee minute. But as always we've got any questions on any of this but just hop on. But I think it's pretty cool. So here this takes us to Reiki. Which hashtags should we be using? Is what I clicked on and then it then starts to pull all this fun stuff together in the background. So here there's. We've always had that little blue button, by the way. So if you've ever got any questions in when you're in the actual and you're in there, then please feel free to go in. But here. So it takes me back to my calendar and then what it then does is it then shows me. So these are all my posts. Welcome to maybe AI. Tap below. And then basically I can start to ask it questions so I can start to see which hashtag should I be using. Which hashtags work well for me. And what it will do is it will crunch the data and have a look at all the hashtags that I've been using before, what's been working well for me. And then it will. There you go. Tap me to create some hashtags. There you go. So, yay. Responses may take up to 30 seconds, but I promise it will be worth the wait if any content is missing. Type, continue, tap below. There we go. So then that will then start generating all of that for me and then it will just trickle away in the background. Do it for you. And then it is literally just turning that into a post. So if that's how quickly I can start to develop this. There you go. So I am doing it for maybe. So there's all of the hashtags I should be using. So it says these are relevant to your brand and social media industry. They're proven to engage your audience based on your top performing post. Now this is cool. It is really, really cool. So basically before we used to provide you with the data so that you could look at the hashtags and you could look at them and go, right, okay, well, that one seems to be working better for me. If you go onto your phone, you go into your Instagram analytics, that's what you have to do. You have to look at all the hashtags that you use and regularly see which ones are trickling people through. Now I just ask maybe and then it does it for me. Amazing. So any questions on this? Just please feel free to just hop in the little blue button and we can start to have a bit of a play with it. But honestly, that's what I would recommend doing today is have. If you've got like a spare half an hour or something like that, just go on and play with our AI because it is amazing. There we go. Sorry, it keeps trying to take me through to AI again. There we go. So this is what we do. And the reason why we do it is because of this. So this is because the majority of customers spend over an hour on social media every day and then only a minority of businesses have active social media accounts and are on their everyday posting. So this is what we're trying to do, trying to bridge the gap and the. You guys are the lucky people who keep coming on here weekend and week out and listening to us and looking at, looking at the training, looking at all the great things that we provide in order to bridge the gap. And hopefully that means that you are going to get as much out of it as the 25,000 businesses that we help get more social media. So, as I've shown you, you can do, you can use the AI, you can create new content, you can generate hashtags, but the other ways we can do it is we can obviously do that, which is what I call old faithful sources. But, you know, what maybe was built on, which was the comparison. So comparing yourself to another business, it is giving you the social media tools and insights to use social media more effectively and access to expert resources and training to help you communicate better. So, basically, all the great stuff that you see in the background and lots of amazing training. Now here I want to look at something that again, was pretty cool, actually. So this was just a reminder, if you've just come on, we are doing a bit of a roundup of May. We're looking at the national days now. We're not doing a whole coordination special or anything like that. We did do that last week. This is actually just. And we're going to look at a few of the different national campaigns. So one of them just happened to be based on the Coronation, but I just thought it was really cool. So I wanted to look at it because this is all about how you can do a PR stunt show on social media to drive physical football. So let's go on to good old Insta and take a little look. Okay, so you get the gist of what this was all about. So this was basically Tesco. They teamed up with a pub and then what they did did was they, they took over for two days over the coronation and they rebranded the entire thing. So as you can see, they've branded all of the frontage, the branded up Tesco. They've done obviously all the lovely little coronation kind of like flags and stuff like that and, you know, like all the kind of like celebration stuff, but actually it's all about Tesco. So it is Tesco branding. They have changed everything, you know, they have like just basically done a takeover. They've done a Quint, especially British pub. They've said that all the proceeds from the food went directly to the Princess Trust, which is obviously the charity. And they've done everything from cupcakes to, to cookies and everything. And again everything would have been based from Tesco and everything would have been from there. And then it explains everything that they're going to do. So they've done £250,000 for the sale of its limited edition coordination range in stores. So again this is driving people to be aw that they were selling coronation ranges in their stores. So again it's taken you from social media to the pub to go and check out the pub, from the pub back to Tesco to go and get the limited edition stuff. That's the kind of idea, it's that kind of circular effect which we talk about a lot on social media. It's about showing the physical digitally to drive me to do something physical or indeed buy them online. And they're showing me the different cocktails that can be made which again you know, you would maybe buy in the bar but actually everything is Tesco branded as you can see here. There's. They're even like they'll have been using, I imagine like you know, their plates, their cups, their, you know, their everything because they would want to promote absolutely everything that they have. The pint obviously would be from the pub and as you can see the actual, the actual caption itself here is the gays coordination together and we're opening up a pop up pub. So it was in Farringdon in London and we've kept a few tables aside for a walk in so you could either pre book or, or you could walk in and obviously just hope for the best. Betty. All the food and proceeds go to the Princess Trust. Cheers to that. And then as you can see people, people have like gotten very much engaged in it. So everything from how long is open for. And that's what, that's the interesting thing with social media is even though it says it on there how long it's open for. If you didn't catch that in the caption in the real, then again that's something that maybe they could have put in there. You know, it's just little tiny things that actually make another, that make detail. Now again, interestingly, some people have taken it completely differently. Some people have thought that this means a pub is becoming a supermarket. So they're getting rid of the good old fashioned London pub and turning it into supermarkets. So clearly they've just missed the mark on that one. There you go. And I think what was interesting is this an advertisement for Tesco and King Charles's coordination with an American accent. Again, people are picking up on the fact that person doing the little voiceover was it had like an accent. So the point is, is that whether people have liked it, loathed it, gotten behind it, not gotten behind it. The point is it is talked about. This is a PR stunt, this is a takeover. So when you think about your own business, think about, you know, whether what did I mention earlier on shopping centers, thinking about that, thinking about could they take over the local park with little pop ups from some of their stores. Could it be that you work with your local gym and do a little takeover For Father's Day, for example, if you sell men related products and you want to do something where, you know, you guys do a kind of combination of something, things don't have to cost, what a Tesco budget would would, you know, like it can just literally be about collaboration. But the point is, is that they've created a PR stunt. They have shown what it looks like very, you know, like just literally just lots of little videos and lots of stills. Turn it into a reel advertiser on digital to then drive me back to, to go and do the thing. And if nothing else, it is getting people talking about them. That is what PR is all about. So have a bit of a think of, I guess, you know, that what we will have a look at some of the nationalities that are coming up. But what is coming up that you think, right, what could we do to bring the digital and the physical together? Could it be, you know, something that literally is come on down 2d for the next hour to do a thing, whether it's to get a discount or the first 10 people in the store get a muffin, anything like that. Excuse me. So let's Tesco got loads to cover today. This I love and I'm doing it just as my dog has appeared underneath me. So apologies. So this is Rex's perfect goodies now I mean just everyone knows dogs, cats, anything on Instagram, anything like that on Instagram is always an absolute winner. So this is Rex's perfect goodies. It's really hard to say perfect goodies. Maybe it's my accent. And this is celebrating the coronation again. I promise this isn't a coronation special. This just happens to be like I wanted to show you a national and more of a kind of like smaller brand and Happy Coronation Day to Celebrate the King's coronation, you get 200 grams bag of our royal crown goodies for just five pounds. As you can see, there is the cutest little dog and then that is the little biscuits there. Clearly all like. It looks all very sort of like handmade and pretty. And again, it's called a flatly. So the way they've laid it out is literally just taking a little picture on top, which thinks really cute. But I think what I really liked about this was actually about the detail. So as a smaller company, they wanted to do a nod to, you know, something that everybody's talking about. Actually, you know, at the end of the day, there's a dog, you know, they sell dog food, so how can they do it? Well, actually, you know, they created a product that was inspired by, you know, the King's coronation, but look at the detail here. So to celebrate it, they're giving away a 200 grams bag for five pounds. Now what I liked here was these usually come in at 100 grams bag for 4 pounds. The offer is for today only and you have to message to get it. So think about that. So that got some decent engagement. As you can see, people. Wowzer's fab offer. Thanks for. Thanks, sweetie. And that is from apparently a dog's Instagram. Percy the pups, another dog's Instagram, Whole of Bailey and Coco. Another dog's Instagram, Adorable sausage. Another dog's Instagram. You kind of see the point here, right? So that got a lot of engagement from people who ultimately are going to buy and let's face it, the dogs aren't sitting there tapping away on Instagram. It's the parents. Hate to burst your bubble, guys. So what I like about this is if you're going to do something and you're going to do something that is a discount or something that's limited edition or anything like that, then talk about the value. That's what this is about, is value. So they're saying you're getting 200 grams for only £5 and you normally get. So basically you're getting double for only a pound more. That's what that is. That to me screams value. It makes me think, wow, I really am interested in this. And let's face it, it's only a fiver. It's five qu. And if you are ultimately going to get double the amount, then why wouldn't you go for it? And that is going to get people engaging, it's going to get people interested. The likelihood is if I didn't have a dog and I saw this, I would probably tag in a friend that did have a dog or just message to get it that day. I would love to know how many people actually went for that offer because I think that's what's really good. You know, we call it FOMO for a reason. It's that feed of missing out. I saw that and I thought, oh, you know, the dog's really cute. Flick through the carousels or the other images. And then I knew that I could only get that for today. It makes you. It's that instantaneous decision. You think, you know, fine. It's only, you know, to hell with it, it's only a fiver. I'll go for it. So if you do a promotion, if you're doing anything on social media that's anything like this, always make sure you're showing the value. So whether it's two for one or whether it's a percentage off or anything like that, talk about the sheer value that people are getting out of it and give a strict deadline, give a timeline and then. But then make sure that you're promoting that. So talk about in your stories, talk about it on your reels, put it on your post, talk about it on messenger, let people know, you know that you've only got, you know, X amount of hours left to a little countdown, things like that. Yeah, I really liked that. So we're moving away from the Coronation and this another big, big sort of the national campaign, if you like, over me was actually hashtag mental health awareness Weakness is a really interesting one. Obviously this is, this is mind the char. And then what they did is something that we talk quite a lot about on social media is about giving value and about giving people, I guess, top tips. And I just want to give you guys a little view on this one. So here, what they've done is so overwhelmed by hashtag Mental Health Awareness Week, which is when you click on it, lots and lots of people were using that hashtag. And I mean, different types of people. There was everyone there, from influencers to your average mum, dad, teenager, right through to huge, huge, huge businesses, businesses. So that is why we talk about the national days, because it is a topic of conversation and lots of people are talking about at the same time, which means you're going to get more engagement and more reach at that point. Now, what I really liked about this is overwhelmed by it. We've got you. And so it says, join at Andy Sturgeon design on a journey through our mind garden. So obviously they're, you know, they're a huge charity and so naturally they're going to get you know like big followers and big following and that kind of thing. But it said the On a journey through our mind garden created last year's RHS Chelsea Flower show to help people connect with nature away from screens, stigma, stress and all other things. Watch this space to see where we're going to be headed next. So this is lovely because I think the real itself just looks really peaceful. It shows off the garden at its absolute best. But actually what it is is him talking very sort of gently and with purpose about, about the garden itself, about the design, about the crocus, about the, about why they've chosen what they chose, how it's mindfully designed and how it is designed to be a calming, peaceful space which obviously when you're talking about mental health is a, is an absolute no brainer ultimately end of the day. So so the various things that they did as part of this was really good. So they shared a few tips along along it along the way about how you could I guess, you know, obviously not everybody can go and visit that garden but how I guess you can appreciate nature and even small little chunks of time. I think it was a really good way of using sort of like you know, very calming music mixed in with the little videos as well. And then it also gave us a little nod to where they're going to be next time. So again that kind of creates that oh I want to know where and it might engage people more and increase the following a little bit more. And then they've done the tag so they've tagged in the person that designed it and is talking about it and then they've tagged and again from the website as well. And then I think what's really, really nice is I guess they've made it feel, even with the emojis, they've made it feel light and not too hard hitting. And so I think there is just like a really, really fine line when it comes to social media. You can, you can I call it hitting people. The funnies are hitting people in the fields. You can hit people in the fields without it being too heavy and get across your point without it being too heavy as well. And sometimes it is actually about the video and the real, the soundtrack, the voiceover and whilst they can take a little bit little chunk of time to create you can be really, really powerful. So again looking at any of the, you know, if you are looking at any of the sort of either mental health campaigns or you are looking at any of the health related ones. There's ones for cancer, there's ones for various illnesses. Think about how you want to get that across. Think about whether it is you've got a little loneliness seat, for example, in your, in your place, or you have, I don't know. I was talking to a barber the other day and he has done mental health training and so does a little section, I think it's on a Thursday where you, where men can go down and they can get their hair cut but they can actually just, you know, have a chat, relieve a bit of that mental strain. So, yeah, I think it is about using a national campaign as a way of promoting something that you're doing, but equally giving value and making sure you're tagging in all the right people to ensure that that is what's, that's what's coming across. Now, speaking of the same sort of the same campaign, this is different. And I wanted to show you this because this is a really interesting one. Now you, you probably, I don't know if you've ever used any infographics before, but they are so powerful on social media and they're really taggable. And Martha Brook London uses this a lot. So this is a stationary company and they used Mental Health Awareness Week make up their usual content and giving tips on coping with anxiety. So it was a really good way, I guess, of opening up to our audience as well as serving a purpose to help people. So this is all about adding value. So as I say, stationary company, as you can see, lots of absolutely gorgeous stationery. Everything's really branded and beautiful and lovely and sometimes fun. I am stationary. This is stationary having a bit of a joke about the, the, the difference in spelling, but these are the infographics that she created. Now I absolutely love this because it is branded and fits in really, really nicely with what she does. But it is about adding value. So here it says helpful tips for coping with anxiety. Acknowledging the feelings and remind yourself of the past. You can stop and breathe. So there's physical tips and then there's more from a mental side. Understand what caused your feelings, help you manage them, share with someone. So these are all things that ultimate anybody could create equally people, whether you're a cafe, a baker, a mortgage advisor or a shopping center or a council. There is nothing wrong with it, with any of you taking this post because it's beautiful, taking it and resharing it and saying, we saw this, it is love and it is, we find it really, really helpful and we would hope that you Know, like, it catches you if you're feeling a little bit, if you're struggling a little bit today. So it doesn't mean that you're suddenly promoting a stationary. Actually means that you're genuinely could help somebody that really needs it. You're using the national, you know, using the hashtag, which means that it's something that everybody's talking about at that point, which is the hashtag Mental Health Awareness Week. So it's a theme that most people can understand. And as you can see that she got into loads and loads of detail about anxiety and how it's affected. Like, people that she knows. Feel free to share with anybody who you might find this helpful or save it if you want to come back to it. You can even sign up to the newsletter for more on it. So she's getting you to do a thing she's, you know, still very much promoting, I guess, you know, how what she does and asking you to share. But it is coming from a human place. It's coming from a place of actually, I understand this. I want to share support. And again, she's done exactly the same thing with this one as well. How to ask if someone is okay. Now, again, I'm not saying you need to reinv. Reinvent the wheel. So this is for a happy World Mental Health Day. So those are two different campaigns. One was weak and one was day. One was world and one was national. So it is looking at, you know, actually how this works. But these are things that anybody could get from any charities, like Samaritans, from mind from anything like that. And then you can repurpose or ultimately this. I mean, this could be a graphic designer that's done it for them. But you can go into Canva and you can create these really easily. But whether you want to do it for something like mental health or indeed something that's actually more fun and like, as in like, you know, like not funky. What's the word? Maybe more, you know, more of one of like the funny national days, for example, like National Donut Day. How do you eat yours? It might be something to do with National Biscuit Day or how do you. What do you dip in a tea, do a little infographic. You know, you can have fun with them or you can be powerful with them. It kind of just depends on, I guess, you know, like what you're going for. But you can see how powerful that is. If I'm scrolling through, that would make me stop and want to engage with it. What is. If it was just a static post or even just a video sometimes I might not have caught that straight away, but as that has given me a lot of tips without me having to do anything, that's why infographics work really, really well. Now we are going to look at challenges. So this was something a little bit different. So this was for National Walking Month. So again, this is my point is that we've looked at so far three different national campaigns and then there was a world one in there that chucked in and this is a National Trust and here it says it. So it's for National Walking Month, if you're lucky. So if we're lucky, we might see more and more days of sunshine in a row. Just in time for an astral walking month to celebrate, we're asking you to step out for spring and show your photos using that hashtag, celebrating your favourite walks. So what I really like about this is various things. So they've created a hashtag so that they can start to follow it. So when you create your own hashtag, if you are creating a challenge, create a hashtag, make sure that no one else is using it or that, that it's. You're. Maybe you're doing the same one. If then make sure you're tagging them in. But by creating a hashtag, it means that you can follow everybody that's in because sometimes people forget to tag you, but they do use the hashtag so you can follow all the content really easily. And it means that you can reshare it, you can repurpose it. But they've used a national one, National Walking Month, and then thought, okay, how does that work with National Trust? Of course it works with National Trust, it's National Walking Month. But anybody could do something for National Walking Month and that's kind of the point. It could be that you're getting everybody to walk to work and you want to increase the steps to improve. You know, your team want to look at their health and fitness. Or it could be that it is a focus on mindfulness and getting moving and looking at nature. Again, you don't have to be anything to do with the National Trust to do anything with these national days or campaigns. It's just about what speaks to you and what will speak to your customers. The other thing they've done is they partnered. So they've partnered with Cotswold Outdoor, that's their walking partner. So they've got lots of advice and inspiration on the website about enjoying what in nature. Again, if you are doing a challenge. So they will obviously want people to get out there and walk. And what they're asking me to do is get out there, walk. And they want me to share my photos through the hashtag, and it just says to add, simply hashtag your photos from today until Monday, only photos uploaded to your Instagram grid are eligible. And so it's telling me what I actually have to do in order to be part of this. But effectively, it just gets me out and about in nature. Might be with dog, might be with a friend, might be with the kids, whoever, but it gets me out and about. People are much more likely to get involved in the National Trust, which is actually what they want them to do, is to actually use your National Trust card, if you've got one. And they've done the collaboration, which means that Cotswold Outdoor is much more likely to share them. They're much more likely to share Cotswold Outdoor. Let's face it, Cotswold Outdoor, we're going to get a lot more out of this as well, because, you know, National Trust is a massive following, so doing a collaboration with someone with good engagement is always a positive. But they've used the national hashtag, they've created their own hashtag to actually follow what's happening. So, again, thinking about what's coming up, are there any national Days, any national challenges that you think actually, how can we get involved in that and what can we do to get to do that locally? This one's the same, so slightly different. So this was really nice, actually. So this one is for, again, National Walking Month, but again, I wanted to show you just different people using the different national days in various ways. So this is Exmoor Character Cottages and it's a cottage company. And basically what they've done is they've used the National Walking Month to promote a little book that they've made to mark out the beautiful walks in the local area. So here it is, the Little Book of Walks. So this is 12 guided walks around Exmoor and they've collaborated with local photographers in order to make this work. So. And we're reminding our lovely social media fans about the Little Book of Walks, so penned and walked by our very own Lucy Greens. That is the who you know, obviously, like, as part of the cottages with. And then they partnered with a photographer. Again, I don't know, maybe if they don't have Instagram and that's why they've not tagged them in, but I would 100% have tagged them in if they do, because, you know, the more that you tag, the more engagement you get, the more reach you get. It's, you know, it's a no brainer. However, maybe they haven't. And then they've said a complimentary copy of the little books will be waiting for you at your cot when you stay with us. So obviously if you're going to stay at their cottages, they want to promote all the amazing things that you can do in the area. That's what they use the rest of the Instagram for. Now why wouldn't you be promoting the walks that you can do? Because that is why people are going to go there in the first place for a lot of it. People love a walking holiday so they are very much targeting people who are interested in the area. So again, looking at hashtags, hashtag xmores. So it's people that are interested in the area, people that are interested in walking are going to be following National Walking Month. So walkers Exmoor, two hashtags that they're using to drive me there. And then they've looked at the collaboration, creating walks to again help me want to book and stay there. And then you've just said the, the book can be purchased where you can purchase it as a perfect accompaniment and you can get yours by booking. So it very much is, is a little subtle way of trying to get me to book when, without saying book me now kind of thing. So thinking about it, thinking about that's a national walk, a national walk month. It fits in with the type of interest that people would have for their business. So again, thinking about what's coming up and then what they've done is they've looked at, well, what else can we do as an addition to this? What can we promote? Brilliant. So this product, product is promoted, it fits in really nicely with this. So it's just looking at what you already have and then using it to frame your content. That's what this is all about. So this again is a really, is a really interesting one. So this is going back to a mental health one. This was a different one. This was Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. This is, have you, how many have we done so far? We're on what, five national campaigns. This is really interesting. So this is peanut and they have used Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week as an opportunity to share a post to address the different types of mental health. So nobody feels alone here, you can see. So postpartum mental health, it's different for everyone. So you can get protectiveness and hyper vigilance. So constantly checking the monitor, insomnia, feeling disconnected and numb. So Again, they're trying to show that very physical ways that people can be affected by this. Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, excessive worry, And then at the end it is that kind of really nice. Ah, I get you. That's what this is all about. So I promise, with help and with time, the right support, you will see the light again. So here this, this week is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. If you're struggling, know that with help and time and proper support, you will see the light again. And that they've done with my Mum Best friend. So that is all a collaboration. But I think what's really powerful about this is recognizing that by tagging onto a national campaign, you are going to gain a lot of. You're going to gain more following and you're going to get more reach and more engagement, naturally, because there's a lot of people talking about that topic now when it is something like this, which is ultimately about supporting someone's mental health, that is a really, really powerful one. So you need to get it right. So by getting it right, that is actually looking at, well, how are people affected? It's looking at, you know, pain points, you know, what are people's pain points? How are people affected in there? How can you, how can my. Or your product or your, or you as a business or help them? But actually this isn't even about help. This is just saying if you're struggling, know that with help, time and support, you will see the. Again, that is them just acknowledging it and saying everything's going to be okay. So if someone's having a dark day, that is, everything's going to be okay. So equally, if your product or your service doesn't quite link with a national campaign, but that one speaks to you whether. So this one, it might have been that actually it speaks to you as a mom or a friend or anything like that. And you. Or it might be that actually quite a lot of your, quite a lot of your customers are mums, things like that, then that is a really powerful one to share because it's that whole no one wants to feel alone thing. So just because you didn't create the content doesn't mean you can't repurpose it and reshade it. As long as you tag in like say peanut or tag in again, the lady who actually created the reel itself, because it is, it's a powerful one and I think most people could resonate with it. So again, looking at those national hashtags, hashtags, start clicking into the national hashtags, start clicking into them and having a look and see if there's any content that actually might be of interest to your customers. Because that is all about connection, it is about reinforcing that the, that you are a human behind your business and ultimately you get them. And even if you don't get them, that, you know, it is just a little look, there's light at the end of the tunnel and I think most people want to hear something like that. So again, really, really powerful stuff there. And again this, this one is an interesting one. So this is all on the board now. I love all on the board because again, if you've never taken the underground, this is inspirational quotes from the TFL underground team. So this is on the boards around the tube in London. You will always find something really, really good on the service information. But part. So they have looked basically what we were doing, they've looked at all the national days, all the national campaigns and thought, right, okay, there could be people suffering. They take our tube every day. What can we do now? They've done this for suicide, they've done this for really, really tough topics here. They've done it. It's Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. Please know you're not alone. And there are people in organizations to help you. And then here they've got all the detail. So they've gone into detail about 1 in 10. And women develop a mental illness during pregnancy. Nothing is as fighting as battling with your mind. Every day they've gone into it all of the details about being worried about the pregnancy and then actually about having it every mum matters and dads too. Please know that you're not alone and don't be afraid to seek help. And then they've done their tag, which is at all on the board. So that's what basically they want people, when they get signal on the tube to then tag them and say, you know, like what they thought about it. Thank you. And I think that's what's really interesting about this. So look, people have gotten really, really involved in this. This had over 20,000 likes and engagements and I think that's really powerful one. And again, any business, if you have anything to do with mums, parents or anything to do with mental health. Indeed. Or that resonates with you. Share that because I think that's mega, mega powerful, especially for, you know, they're the underground, they're not a charity, they're an underground. But they see so many people every day they want to support. So if you have a high footfall, anything like that, maybe A shopping center, maybe a place repurpose things like that and share it. Because you never know a, how many people you might actually support in one day or some one. All it takes is one person to read that and that can turn their day around, their weekend, their month around. But actually from a, from if you take the human element out of it and look at it from a social media perspective, help gain more reach, you help gain more engagement and you show the real feel again that human factor, the people behind the, the Instagram, the people behind the Facebook page. So thinking about what's coming up then. So we've shown you like what, five different, I think, campaigns all. Some of them hard hitting, some of them fun, some of them are just, you know, like big events that happen to be going on like the coronation and that kind of thing. Obviously we've got Father's Day, all those bits and bobs coming up as well, which again most people would kind of have a nod to if it resonates with your business. But having a think about what is coming up. So we've got June. So I'm just going to have a quick look over June again because we haven't looked at it for a couple of weeks because I've been looking at July. So let's see. So let's see what's coming, coming up. So this is our content schedule. So basically all you need to do, if you don't have it already, just go into maybe and you can download it or you can drop a note in the Q and A button and we'll get this sent to you. But basically we've pulled together all the national days, pull together all the national days, weeks, awareness, months, all that kind of stuff. Popped it all together in one spreadsheet so that then literally you can have this is what the day is, this is what the date is. And then we've even done some content for you, we've done a link and then we've done the hashtags in there as well. Well, so you've got everything that you could possibly need. And then with their new AI system, our new AI chat, it means that you can literally go, okay, let's, I want to talk about, I want to talk about English Wine Week. So I want to talk about all the. I might be a vineyard, I might be a pub, I might be, you know, a cafe that sells wine, I might just love wine. Then I want to talk about that. So I know that, that here's some detail here. So we put in English wine the most Famous of all the continental blends, sarcasm aside, it's not exactly a small industry anymore. Then we go into all the organizers of English wine week. There's 577 vineyards. So we've gone into as much detail as we can. We've written the post for you, we've then explained what the post is and then we have done the detail as well. We've done the website and then we've done the hashtags for you. So we've created it all for you. But you could literally take that and say. And put that into our AI, which we. I showed you at the beginning of the webinar and then say, I want to write a post about English Wine Week. That is funny. And it will literally write the post for you and all you need to do is switch it up. So that is exactly why we do these things. Again, a more. A bigger one would be something as like, amazing, like Learning Disability Week. So it takes place from the 19th to 25th of June. This year's theme is Art and Creativity. So for many people with a learning disability and their families, getting creative is a great way to stay connected and positive through challenges of last year. And basically it's all about. It's all about using art and creativity to show the differences that people have with a learning disability. And again, to maybe give a bit of respite, to give a bit of support, to get people engaged. So if you, again, like one of the shopping centres I was talking to last week, they do a lot with this and a lot to do with mindfulness. It may be little workshops that you do, or it might be that you want to do something to support people, people who have children, for example, with learning disability. So anything like that. Think about all the things that we've talked about today. Think about, could you do a reel that gives some top tips? Could you work with a local charity and do a team up, where actually you provide something physically in your place? Could there be a product that you could sell to support this in some way, shape or form? Could you do something for charity? Could you create a challenge around this, some kind of arts challenge, challenge for the local, a local school, for example? Lots of different ways that you can do it. But this is my point, by keeping an eye on this, it might just be that actually you don't want to do anything specifically, but you want to engage in the hashtag so that you can attract more of the people who are going to be following those hashtags to you to get the right support, help Anything like that. So as you can see, this is exactly why we pull all this kind of stuff together to help you so that you have, have basically a plethora of content that you can use and then we even help you write the content. Great. So as you can see, we provide all the tools and support that you need, but in particular, please keep an eye on this. So obviously I'm here every Wednesday chatting to you guys about all things social and what's been going on with other businesses and breaking it down for you. But equally on a Monday you can drop in and find out how to use maybe. So if there's anything you want to know more about the AI function, what about scheduling, anything like that, just hop on and it's like this. And you know, it can be as interactive as you like, but you can basically just go in and ask some questions. Tuesday, social media basics. Literally, if you don't know how to make a reel, come in and ask us. We go back to Thursdays ads for beginners, Friday advanced ads, and then always on. So that is basically all the training that we do on a weekly basis. We compile it all together, pop it in there for you. So we help you with that a thing, whether it is literally how, how to use hashtags, right through to getting some content inspiration within your particular genre of business or sector. So let's do a little roundup then, so you can create PR stunts that drive engagement, reach and physical football. Think Tesco. So how can you collaborate within your area? What can you take over? How can you do something that's really fun that you could do to together, go into detail when you discount or do a giveaway. People love a bargain in value. So it goes back to that. If you are paying only a pound more and I'm getting double, I want to know that I'm getting double so that I'm much more likely to promote it and get engaged. Use infographics to make it easier for people to understand your services and solutions. Canva is a great way of doing that. But equally, if I've shown you any that you're interested in today, go on, reshare them, look at, look at them. Go into charities, go into local organization organizations because they've got the best ones and you can just repurpose them. People enjoy your challenge, so use one that exists or make up your own. So that is the walking challenge. It might be bike to work day. It might be, I don't know, you want to get like sans, for example, an amazing charity. I think it's for June. You can walk, I think, up to 60 miles to raise money. Maybe your team are doing something like that. So either do one yourself or jump onto one that already exists and be authentic. If you're supporting a cause, collaborate, getting genuine experts to support people. Think about tfl, Think about the. The view that was shared by Peanuts, for example, and, and then just come on here, get started, sign up, get your free account, and just start learning from other brands, because that's what this is all about.
