In this short video, the presenter explains how a health and safety training provider (CNC Training) can use social media to demonstrate its own growth and thereby inspire confidence and bookings from potential customers. The speaker highlights three main tactics: (1) focusing social media posts on the team that delivers the training, so prospects can see who will be working with them; (2) sharing content that shows the company’s physical expansion—such as moving to larger offices—to signal business success and build trust without overt bragging; and (3) actively engaging with local businesses in the areas they serve (e.g., Nottingham) by liking, commenting on, and resharing their posts, which inserts the brand into local conversations and generates leads. The video concludes with a friendly call‑to‑action inviting viewers to click a button for any questions, reinforcing the invitation to interact.

Today we're looking at how you can show your own growth through social media and how that inspires your customers. This is CNC training. They're a health and safety training provider in Leighton Buzzard, Buried St Edmunds and Nottingham, and they provide bespoke health and safety training to businesses. Now, what they do a lot on their social media is really focused on their team. So ultimately it's the team that are going to be out there and actually deliver and the training. So if I was any business and I was interested in their training, I would want to see who is going to be coming along, you know, will I go on with them or my team get on with them? You know, what would the training be like? So that's a lot of what they do on social. And what I really, really like about this post is actually it's something a little bit different. So they're shown us here that their offices are expanding and that shows us that their business is doing well. If they weren't doing well and they weren't getting a lot of customers, they wouldn't be expanding ultimately, at the end of the day. So by showing us that they have this is all their, you know, them packing up their box, packing up the offices, by showing that they are moving and moving to something even bigger, it gives me an idea of their business growth, which makes me think that actually their training can support my business growth. So I guess from my perspective, it is a good way. I guess, you know, you're talking about your success without bragging, but you're reassuring people that you're still there to support everybody. And we show that you're moving to bigger premises, which makes me think, wow, they must be doing well. So it builds up trust and I think, indeed it inspires me to be much more likely to book their services than if they hadn't shown me that. Now, if I was CNC training, one of the things I'd want to do is be engaging with the locations in which I'm in. So here I would go to, I would go to maybe and I would pick, say, for example, they are in Nottingham. So here they're in Nottingham, uk. I would want to be going in and finding all the local businesses within Nottingham that are getting a lot of engagement on social media, because guess what, they are businesses that might actually need my health and safety training at some point. So I would be liking, I would be commenting, I might even re share some of their posts. And it means that ultimately what I can do is I'm starting to get involved in the local conversation. I'm coming up in other people's feeds and it samples people back to me as well. As always, if you've got any questions at all, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
