In this instructional video, the presenter explains how brands can boost social‑media engagement by tapping into universally loved themes—specifically dogs and festive vegan drinks like a plant‑based Irish coffee. The speaker walks through a real‑world example where a vegan store combined two vegan brands (Dirty Cow Chocolate Liqueur and Heavenly Whip) to create a plant‑based Irish coffee post that featured cute dogs, relevant hashtags, and product tags. The content was originally posted by another account, tagged, and then repurposed by the brand, illustrating the power of user‑generated, tagged content. The talk highlights best practices: using popular visual cues (dogs), seasonal product pairings, strategic hashtags, encouraging audience tagging, and properly crediting tagged creators. It then shifts to a demo of a social‑media analytics dashboard where brands can monitor conversation, insights, ad performance, follower growth, post engagement, best‑performing content, and calendar planning, even benchmarking against competitors. The video ends with a clear call‑to‑action to click a blue button for further assistance.

Today we're looking at how you can tap into what people love to connect on social media. Now everyone knows on social media dogs sell pets sell pets always work. And who doesn't want to talk about pet and who doesn't want to talk about booze on the lead up to Christmas. Now this is vegan store and they have created, they have got their plant based Irish coffee made with and then they've put here at Dirty Cow Chocolate Liqueur and Heavenly Whip. So it's two brands that they support at vegan store because obviously they're vegan and what they've done is they have put the two brands together and turned into a plant based Irish coffee. So what they're trying to do here is to basically show how like you know, how vegan cocktails, vegan drinks, you know, especially on the lead up to Christmas, you know, there's some really delicious ones out there and lots of alternatives. And what's great about it is, is that this was actually created by someone else and then they have, they have been tagged in it and then they have decided to share it themselves. Now let's have a look at what they did. So can you see that little dog in the background? I absolutely love it. Right, so I mean the clues. So we'll go back to the dog in a second. But the clue is all about, you know, plant based Irish coffee. Right. So if you're vegan you're going to be following all these kind of hashtags below. So naturally if you see something like a plant based Irish coffee, you're immediately going to want to click on it to see what it's all about. If you are vegan, you like your chocolate. So if you like your coffee and you want to try some different booze options out, then it's saying, you know that we're loving this made by and they've tagged in the brands which is great again. And maybe Heavenly Whip don't have an Instagram and that's why it's not being tagged in and then they're just saying it's hot, strong and perfect by for the festive season. So they were at this actually was done by this account here, was tagged in and then they've turned it into their own post. So it's absolutely brilliant because it is tagged content. They've repurposed it, they've turned it into something else. Now what I love about the idea behind it is that you're showing how you can take a couple of different products and turn it into something delicious. So it's something that people can do at home. So it's all about inspiration, having the dogs. She clearly likes her dogs or they clearly like their dogs. So they've got the dog on the cup and then they've got the little dog in the background, which again I just thought was very, very cute. And people absolutely love the dogs. Oh yeah, there's two of them dogs in the background just showing how cute they are and I just love it. And then obviously they've got all of the great hashtags as well. So it tags the product in the caption. It encourages other people to tag, to tag too. You know, the idea would be who might you want to, I don't know, maybe share a coffee with kind of thing. I think, you know, most vegans would probably agree that it would. It's quite tough to find a really good vegan cream liqueur and it's even more difficult for one that can be heated without curdling. That's something that comes up quite a lot in the content. So it's a really good way to see the way different products can be used and products that can be used together. Plus people love an Irish coffee around about Christmas time. The dogs simply, if I'm being honest, just make the, just make the video more watchable and super cute. But as you can see, people have loved it, the dirty cow and they've written back, people have tagged other people to say that they want it, please. So it just works really well. So this is about tagging into the now, AKA you know, what are people thinking about on the lead up to maybe a festive season or it might be a holiday or something else coming up. It's thinking about how you can showcase your brand in the best possible way. And it's even better thinking about, you know, what do people love on social media? They love dogs. So if you've got anything to do with dogs, trust me, put some of those hashtags in and they will absolutely love it. And make sure you always tag anybody that you're featuring and make sure that again, this is just testament to them that if they have been tagged by someone else, they are repurposing it because it's really good content. Now if I was vegan store, I would want to be understanding a bit more about how my social media is performing. So I would go onto the baby platform, onto maybe tech, sorry, go into the maybe platform here I could put maybe tech. But for you it would be, say, the vegan store, it would be your business and then here you can click in there and then you can get full insights. You can see your conversation. So that's your conversation across all the social media platforms. Then you've got insights. And then you can view your ads as well. So that's your full reporting, if you like. Then across the rest of them, you can see how many followers you've got, how many posts. You're doing the engagement posts per day, engagements on each post, engagements per day. And you can look at what your best post was across all of your social media platforms. So that would be done in terms of engagement. And then finally, they can look at your calendar so you can see your calendar. And then guess what, you can also choose a competitor to measure your calendar against so you can get even better at social. Now, please click on the little blue button. We love to help.
