In this conversational vlog, hosts Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt travel from the Mirage casino to Javier's restaurant inside the Aria hotel in Las Vegas. After a brief, negative experience at the Mirage, they make a reservation at Javier's, noting the venue is packed and the atmosphere is loud and dark. They sample a range of menu items: two types of margaritas (which they describe as some of the best they've ever had), shrimp-and-cheese empanadas, mole enchiladas, and a sizable taco bar featuring char‑broiled steak and crispy carnitas, accompanied by chips, salsa, pico de gallo, and guacamole. They praise the mole enchiladas and margaritas, find the empanadas delicious, and note the steak’s charred exterior and the carnitas’ crust, while offering a mild critique that some meat pieces were a bit dry. They do not finish the meal or try dessert. Overall, they enthusiastically recommend Javier's and say they will return on future visits to Las Vegas.

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
And we just got done at the casino at the Mirage and it sucked.
It was not pretty.
No, it was terrible. So to make it up to us, we are gonna head over to the Aria and we're going to Javier's.
So we were there back in March and had some amazing margaritas and some good chicken mole, so we're gonna try it again now.
Yeah, so we'll meet you over there.
Later. We got about 3 minutes till the show starts.
All right, so we made it to Javier's. It took us about a half an hour to get over here from the Mirage. Um, we took our We walked through Bellagio Fountains and stuff, but we have made it, and it's a good thing we made a reservation because it is packed.
It's packed.
There's people all over the place, so we'll go ahead and see you on the inside.
Oh my gosh, no wonder he said we were getting a lot of food.
Okay, okay, go. That was so disgusting the way you did that.
Yeah, but it's so good. Yep, yep, yep, best mole ever.
All right, so we just got done eating at Javier's at Aria, and let me tell you, it is loud and it is dark.
Um, we tried to get some footage for you.
Yeah, we added—
maybe not.
We're gonna try to add it so that you can see, but it is very dark in there. It's very loud in there, so we, we did not talk during it. Um, but we have added some footage of what the food looked like. And what do you think?
Oh my gosh, I had the mole enchiladas. Oh my— Phenomenal. So good. And their margaritas, all of them we tried, each of us tried 2 different kinds, super tasty. Yep.
I would say that the margaritas are some of the best margaritas I've ever had in my life.
Ever. Easy, easy, easy.
Um, the chips and salsa comes at the beginning, it's pretty standard. But the empanadas that we had right at the beginning, it was shrimp and cheese and something else. Deliciousness.
Delicious.
Yeah, shrimp and deliciousness is what I'm gonna say. Um, so empanadas, great, awesome. I would recommend them Highly agree. Um, and then the— that taco bar basically that we ordered. It was huge.
The steak had this charbroiled texture outside. Oh, you just can't explain it without trying it.
The carnitas had a very good crust on the outside.
Crunchy but moist on the inside. It was good.
I was gonna say, if I want to be a little bit critical, I could say it could be a little bit dry.
A couple pieces were. You're right.
You kind of had to use the pico on that. But the good thing is they had some pico. They had some guac for it. We did make it through most of it, but we did not finish it. We did not finish. We did not head for dessert.
We did not get it for dessert.
No.
You'll find a showdown for later on desserts though.
But I would say I highly recommend Javier's. It was a great meal.
Every time.
Every time we come back. We'll definitely go back for it.
Yeah, we will come back.
Wait, let's get our napkins.
So my cucumber, the last thing is pineapple. Like cheese pull even. Nice. I know, so yummy.
