Biggest Breakfast in LAS VEGAS? Hash House A Go Go

In this YouTube episode, hosts Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt visit the Hash House A Go Go location at the Plaza in Las Vegas to test the restaurant’s reputation for massive breakfast portions. They order three main dishes—a pork chilaquiles, chicken and waffles, and a blueberry‑lemon pancake—plus drinks (a blood‑orange mimosa and a spicy Bloody Mary) and a breakfast dessert. Throughout the tasting they comment on flavor, texture, portion size, and price, noting that the dishes are surprisingly fresh and well‑executed despite their size. They discuss the $100 total bill (about $50 before tax and tip if alcohol is omitted) and suggest sharing entrees to reduce cost. The hosts also advise viewers to make reservations, as walk‑ins face long waits, and they mention other Hash House locations in Vegas. The video ends with typical channel calls‑to‑action.

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
And today we're gonna try out Hash House A Go Go for the first time. There's multiple locations here in Las Vegas and we've heard they've got huge portions.
We're gonna try the one here at the Plaza, so let's go! Here we go! All right, well, we are in Hash House to Go.
And before we could even talk about our drinks, our whole order was here.
We should start with that. Yeah, so I got the blood orange mimosa. It only comes in the— I call it a souvenir glass.
Yeah, it is plastic. Yeah, we actually tried to get it without, but it's like $18.
Yeah, so it's a little bit higher priced. I guess it's not for a drink. It's a, it's a pretty big drink though. Yeah, it's very good. Fresh orange juice with some blood orange flavoring in there and sparkling wine. So how can you go wrong? And then I ordered the chilaquiles. I went with this because it sounded delicious and I love it. I was not expecting these big of portions even though I should have been.
We knew that they were gonna be big, but like these definitely are really big.
A lot of cilantro, so, but it isn't like covered in it so you can move that away. Offered was in pork or chicken. I chose to go with pork.
That was our server's recommendation also.
Oh.
Okay, so a little bit of, I call it Mexican cheese. Yeah, like that cojita.
Yeah.
Some salsa verde, fresh avocado.
It's got a kick to it. It's smoky. It's a smoky flavor to it. Really, really nice freshness, which I'm shocked at because when I looked at it, I wasn't expecting it to be fresh. It almost eats very heavy, but those chips have a nice crunch on them too.
Yeah, good. Is there like a sauce on it?
There is. It's very smoky. It's a tomato-based sauce, but it's a good sauce. A pico on top, jalapeños in there. It's gonna be a little bit of a kick in it, but I think we're gonna like this one.
Yeah. All right, so you can see there's a lot of chicken and waffles. It looks like 2 chicken breasts worth.
So if nobody is surprised about this, I actually snuck a couple bites of these. Yeah, they're like slivers of onion. It's a fried onion crisp.
Okay, I guess you like the green onion.
Yeah.
Whoa.
Very good.
Yeah. Nice strong flavor. All right, I'm gonna go ahead and try this waffle first. Did go ahead and add the syrup to it.
Is it just a regular waffle or is that bacon in there, Josh?
Um, I see bacon on it. I'm not sure though. Okay.
I'll say that looks so good. Yeah, I think there's bacon built into that waffle from what I can see.
I think there is. Yeah, I actually thought it was on the side, but it really is built into it. Yeah.
I'd say from this angle it's right here in the middle of it.
It's a little heavier than I was kind of anticipating.
The waffle itself?
Yeah.
Okay.
But it does have a nice crisp to it.
Oh, we should talk about your drink too.
Yes, my drink. So I ended up going with the spicy Bloody Mary, and I actually did want this souvenir cup because it looks really cool. Yeah, and we'll probably use it at home. Yes. It's good. It's not a ton of heat, but it does have some.
And it's got a morning salad on top of it.
Yes, I actually did eat a green bean already, and then there's also some olives.
With Josh's chicken and waffles, there is the option to get it Nashville hot. We did not work on that this time. Actually, we forgot to order it that way. We were going to, but there's enough spice in our chili quiles. We don't really need both of them.
There's a really good crisp on it. It's thin. The chicken is moist. Which is chicken breast, so a lot of times you kind of worry that it's gonna be over, but I like it.
How's the syrup? Is it just plain syrup?
Okay, or at least it eats like plain syrup.
These again are huge portions for the price, um, and then we did get a blueberry lemon pancake. All right, went for the blueberry lemon flapjack. I love blueberry lemon combination. Comes out with this huge drizzle of— or big patty of butter.
Yeah, look at the size of that.
Yeah, huge. Also came with some syrup.
And so the blueberry is cooked into it. The lemon, you can see there's like a lemon drizzle on Oh my gosh, it's like lemon curd.
It's so tasty.
Good.
Um, we've known— we normally don't do a whole lot of pancakes because they seem so dense. These are actually surprisingly light.
Good.
Uh, and I would assume they have to be for this size because it's freaking huge.
It is a huge size.
Yeah.
We actually asked about a side portion of it and he said, no, you just get the whole one, which, I mean, I think it's $12, so.
That's delicious. You'll like this one too.
All right, all right, we just stepped out of Hash House A Go Go. It's a little dark in there, um, but I thought that was pretty dang good.
It was filling. Those servings are freaking—
so filling.
They're obnoxiously big.
Yeah, um, obviously we ordered 3 entrees, which I don't think everyone is going to do.
No, no, we ordered 2 entrees and a breakfast dessert.
Okay, yeah, that's what that lemon curd pancake looks like. Um, And so like you don't have to do that. And we also got alcohol. So when you're looking at the price, it was $100. Um, $40 of that is alcohol and an extra $13 for, uh, the breakfast dessert.
Yeah.
So I mean, you could do it for $50 before tax and tip.
And honestly, if you're here on a budget, you can share a serving of any of that if you can agree on what you want. There was no— we didn't finish all of it.
No, but we did enjoy all of it.
Yes.
Um, I like the chicken the most, which we were a little surprised by because it is chicken breast. We expected it to be maybe a little bit dry, but it was very good. Uh, what was your favorite?
My favorite, honestly, as a plate as a whole was the chilaquiles. The spice, the eggs cut it nicely, the fresh avocado, and that pork, so tender. And then to top it all off, those chips, they held up to that sauce. Yeah, they did get soggy at the bottom, but you expect that with chilaquiles.
I would say that dish was The other thing I do want to mention is that try to get a reservation if you can, because people that were doing walk-ups right at the beginning were being told an hour 15 minutes, hour and 30 minutes before they could get seated.
And we still waited like 10 minutes after our reservation.
But overall, I thought Hash House A Go Go was pretty dang good.
If you're in the area, and you said there's another location as well?
I know at the LINQ, and I think there's other ones.
Okay, if you're anywhere near it, I would say give it a chance, especially if you want to sit somewhere quiet. save a little money and share an entree, worth it, 100%.
