In this vlog segment, Josh and his companion narrate a day‑long shore excursion while aboard the Enchantment of the Seas cruising from Barcelona to Rome. They begin in Monte Carlo, where the casino is closed to filming, but they describe the opulent interior, entry fee, and slot‑machine setup, inviting viewers to comment on table limits. The duo then heads to Aix‑en‑Provence for the "Taste of Aix" food tour, sampling spaghetti bolognese, steak au poivre, homemade ravioli, pizza, frites, burrata, and pricey chocolates for the road. After lunch they travel to Cannes, noting the city’s fort, church, walking street, and an Irish pub where they enjoy Leffe and Hoegaarden during happy hour. Throughout, they share personal reactions, logistical details (distance to Italy, travel time), and cultural observations about Monaco’s status, while encouraging audience interaction.

All right, it's the next day. This is probably gonna roll into yesterday.
Yeah.
Today we are in Aix, Aix, Aix-en-Provence, France. We know it's France. We do know it's France. We are on an excursion. It is the Taste of Aix. We're gonna eat as much food as we can here in our one day here in Aix. We're currently on board Enchantment of the Seas on a cruise from Barcelona to Rome. Because we've spent about 2 and a half hours getting to Monte Carlo. Uh, we can't record inside the casino and we're gonna do some time in Monaco. We're not sure how much time though.
Yeah.
But we're gonna bring you along.
That's right! Here we go!
We're on the back side! All right, so I do not believe that you'll get to go along with us further than this, but this is the So the casino is not open, so I think that's why, even though everywhere we read said we can't take pictures or video, but this is stunning. All right, we did get drinks, a Bellini and an Old Fashioned. They seem classy enough for this joint.
It's beautiful.
This place is It is so beautiful. I do wish the games were on, although it probably just would be another way to spend our money and lose it here.
It's true.
It was €18 to get in. Check out these seats for the slot machines while you're just hanging out in a stunning room. Every room is more beautiful than the other, it seems. All right, so this is pretty interesting. Yeah, it's like all the same slot machines that we play in Vegas, but in the most stunning palace.
Yeah, I've never seen anything like this before. No, it's amazing.
It's crazy.
So in the VIP lounge, these chairs, you don't even have to push the machine. You just push start, you bet up and bet down.
Yes.
I think your noise level is going up here.
We have found where we are meant to play. That's, that's too cool. I like that.
Yeah, that's so cool.
And you just got the big screen right there. So Rachael wanted to know what the limits are. We don't see them, unfortunately. If you've ever been here and gambled, please leave a comment down below. We'd love to know what a table limit is in a place like this.
Wow.
Alright, we are headed to a palace of some sort.
Or a cathedral.
Or lunch.
Yeah.
Um, this is an interesting tour, by the way.
It's very interesting.
Not sure I would give my recommendation for it, but we're hoping to get some lunch.
And Josh is hungry.
All right, so we have the choice between going and Seeing a palace and a church, or eating lunch?
We chose lunch.
We chose lunch. All right, so we learned that we are 20 kilometers from Italy, so why not have some pasta and everything else on the menu? So we got some spaghetti bolognese, we got some steak au poivre, we got some ravioli. I don't even know what kind of ravioli. It just said homemade ravioli. This is their type of homemade pizza. French fries.
Frites.
Yeah, frites. We call them frites in France. And then some burrata. Big old pieces of burrata. Oh my God, look at this. All right, 'cause we didn't have enough, let's get some dessert for the road. All right, we are back on the bus because we had no time to eat these, but we ended up getting what?
Little chocolates. Oh, these have caramel and chocolate on them, I believe.
I thought you said Rice Krispies.
Yeah, with caramel.
Yeah, okay.
And chocolate, yeah.
This has hazelnuts in it.
Ooh, and this has nuts and candies, candied fruits.
And it was very expensive, like $15 apiece. All right, so we ended up, um, it took about an hour to get back to Cannes, which we're kind of thinking we should have just stayed in Cannes today.
Yeah, but that's okay.
This is—
it was a cool day, especially if Monaco is not part of France.
Yeah, we're not actually sure if it's a country. We're going to be looking this up, so you'll know it before we do though. But, um, there's a very cool area, lots of places to eat, lots places to shop, um, right outside the cruise port. And there's this cool little sign for Cannes, which we just took our photo with. And, uh, there's a fort and a church. You can get it all here. Pretty great walking street. I'm stopping for a beer here at an Irish pub, actually. Lots of good people seen. All right, we just happen to be at happy hour, so we got a Leffe here and a Hoegaarden here and all the views we need.
All right.
You're gonna see quite the dinner that we picked up at this boulangerie patisserie.
