Is Bobby's Burgers Worth the High Cost?

In this YouTube video, hosts Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt visit the Bobby's Burgers location inside Harrah's on the Las Vegas Strip to evaluate whether the chain’s higher‑priced fast‑food offering justifies its cost. They introduce the three Vegas locations (Harrah's, Caesars, Paris), order a classic cheeseburger with bacon, fries (regular and sweet‑potato), and a milkshake (cookies‑and‑cream and pistachio). Throughout the tasting they discuss menu options (basic burger $14, add‑ons pushing price above $15, fries $6.50, sweet‑potato fries $8, shakes $9.49), ingredient quality (potato chips on the burger, fresh‑cut fries, onion‑ring topping, barbecue sauce), portion sizes, and flavor notes (salty chips, bacon crunch, tangy but not spicy BBQ sauce, vanilla‑forward shakes). They compare the experience to In‑N‑Out Burger, noting that a comparable meal there costs about $35, while Bobby’s is more expensive than typical fast‑food but offers better fries and shakes and a quieter, line‑free food‑court environment. The hosts conclude that the fries and shakes are “definitely better enough,” the burgers are comparable, and the overall value depends on convenience and personal preference. They encourage viewers to comment on which they would choose and to subscribe for more Las Vegas restaurant reviews.

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
And sometimes in Las Vegas you don't want to worry about a 2-hour lunch that you need a reservation for and you just want a quick bite. So today we are trying out Bobby's Burgers, which is actually in 3 locations. This one is at Harrah's.
Yes, so there's Harrah's, there's Caesars, and also now at Paris. So let's go!
All in one shot.
All in one shot.
So this is a Bobby Flay restaurant, we should say. Yes. And I remember he's talked about potato chips on a burger for a long time.
I did like the fact that they offered to cook it medium or well done. It also comes with bacon, or I got the one with bacon. There's some American cheese on here. And then there's Bobby sauce.
Oh, okay. I gotta imagine it's ketchup and mayo, right?
No, it's got spice to it compared to that.
Oh, maybe it's—
I'm ready to take a big old bite of that.
Yeah, that's a good-sized burger. Now the burgers do start around, uh, I think it was like $14 for the basic one, and then once you start adding anything, it's over $15. They do have a veggie burger option and a chicken option.
Bobby Flay knows what he's doing to add chips to a burger because that's delicious. I love the salty Those chips offer to that. The bacon is a really good flavor as well. I think there were a good 3 pieces on there. Otherwise, it's a good classic cheeseburger. Mine is cooked perfect for the well-done portion of it. I, I really like this. I'm excited to dig in further, and the bun is nice and soft. It's a good meat-to-bun ratio.
Now, the, the burger does not come with anything, so that $15 is just a burger. So we did order— we each ordered fries.
French fries.
So french fries is $6.50, sweet potato fries is $8.
Yeah, I did I did notice that they were making them fresh. Granted, we were only like the second person in line, so yeah. A good, nice salty french fry. Josh will like these. It's not—
They look like a real potato.
They do look like a real potato, and it— but it's not anything too crazy. It's just a nice salty, well-done french fry.
I think I'll probably add a little bit more salt, maybe some ketchup, but it's good.
Definitely not floppy like the other ones we had the other day.
We've had some struggles this trip.
Yeah, um, but we did both get a shake as well. Yeah, they actually offer, I think, about 5 different shakes, and I went with the cookies and cream.
And the shakes start— or they are $9.49.
Oh wow, that's got a vanilla base to it, and it is a nice smooth shake. I can't wait to stir in the cookies on that piece as well, but the first sip of it, I didn't get any.
You did not get any so far? Okay.
No, but that was a really good— that's a— and I think that's a decent size.
It's a good size.
Yeah.

And they're— we love sweet potato fries.
So now there's not really a great option to dip it in. Um, I don't know, you can do ketchup, I suppose.
I think they did have some other sauces. I didn't look at them and we didn't grab any extra.
I just really saw like mayo, ketchup that were available. I wasn't sure if there was other stuff, but yeah, maybe a little bit of salt to that, it'll be good. It's nice crispy crunch. That's a good French fry—
sweet potato fry. That's a good sweet potato fry. Yeah.
And then, so I went with the— I believe it's called the Smokehouse Barbecue Smokehouse, or Beef Barbecue Smokehouse.
That is a nice looking burger. That's got a big old onion ring on it too.
Yeah, so it's got onion ring, it's got some bacon, it's got barbecue sauce and some cheese. So decent sized burger. These are all single patty. We didn't see any double patty ones.
Yep.
And it's not like the— it's not a smash burger style, it doesn't appear.
No. And I did notice too that, um, you can also You can get cheese fries, bacon cheese fries, and onion rings as another side if you want. If you're wanting something other than just french fries. That's a nice looking burger.
It is. The barbecue sauce is good. It's got a nice tang. It's a little bit sweet but not too sweet. There is not heat to it, so if you're a hot barbecue sauce person, you're not getting that from this.
Okay.
But it's good. There's a nice crispy crunchy from the onion ring, and also the onion flavor is actually really strong. You do get to eat or taste that even through the barbecue sauce and the bacon. I'm gonna go for one more bite and see.
Looks like yours is cooked well also and has that nice melted cheese on there, the extra bacon. It's— you can actually taste the bacon, can't you?
Yeah.
Yeah, I like that on mine too.
The ingredients are actually better than what I was expecting.
Me too.
Uh, I had not heard really good things about Bobby's Burger. I'm sure a lot of it comes down to the price.
Yeah.
This is expensive for a fast food option in a food court.
Yep.
Which this one is at Harrah's, and this food court is actually really nice.
It is a nice food court.
And we were able to find a fairly quiet It's kind of good.
Yeah, it's a nice place.
I agree. I like the french fries. Again, I'll add some salt to it, but I think that's good. And then I went with the pistachio milkshake, which you can see it's— it also looks like a vanilla base. And I'm really hoping that there's stuff inside because otherwise, if it's just this little bit on top for both the cookies and cream and the pistachio, I mean, you're barely getting the flavor.
Yeah.
Now I got one immediately.
Good. Okay. Yeah, well, and I just took I took probably my third sip and I actually got some cookies in that one, so I think it does— it is there.
It's a really good flavor, super strong vanilla flavor. So if you're not a fan of vanilla, you might go chocolate or strawberry, but I think it's really good. It's much lighter than I expected, and they do give a nice size straw to be able to get a lot of it up. Um, I think it's gonna be good. Is it gonna match the price? All right, we just wrapped up here at Bobby's Burgers. Yeah, I think it was pretty good.
I do too. I actually really enjoyed my hamburger. I told Josh I didn't We did have a few bites of each other's. I wanted mine to have the barbecue sauce on it because I didn't really get a strong flavor from the Bobby sauce.
Yeah, I think there could have been more Bobby sauce on that one. Yeah. So when I tried the other, I really wanted my burger with the potato chips.
Yeah.
So we just kind of would have mixed and matched them, and I bet you can. I'm sure there's a cost to it, but—
or I mean, like, yeah, just having it custom. I bet you could too. We didn't know when we ordered, so it's there, right?
I will say milkshakes were great.
Oh yeah, milkshakes. Definitely well worth it. They're very good size. Way to go on that one. And I do think that if 2 people are coming here, the portions, at least for the french fries, are definitely shareable. And you could really honestly share this shake.
But why would you?
But why? Why do you?
You can walk with that. It's okay.
Yeah.
Um, now I did— I was saying to Rachael that I think the tough thing that you'd run into is on the— we're mid-strip right here, so there's not a lot of like really cheap fast options. The one gorilla in the room is In-N-Out Burger over at LINQ Promenade. So you could get a similar meal for probably about $35.
Yeah.
So your question is, is it better enough? I would say the fries are definitely better enough. I would say that the milkshake was better. The burgers I would put kind of comparable.
I think so too. Neither one stands out like is way better than the other one.
Right.
So if I was walking by Bobby's Burgers, I'd definitely stop if I want a fast burger. But also In-N-Out, same thing. The nice part I think about Bobby's At least the location we visited, there isn't a line and it did not take us very long. When we visited In-N-Out Burger, there was a huge line.
Yeah, we couldn't even find a table. Uh, we had to wait in line for a solid 5-10 minutes.
Yep.
So I think sometimes convenience does cost, but I don't know, I thought it was good. Which one would you choose? Let us know in the comments down below. But if you're enjoying our videos, don't forget to hit that like and subscribe.
