Must Try Las Vegas Desserts!

In this upbeat travel‑food video, Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt guide viewers through their four favorite desserts on the Las Vegas Strip, offering tasting notes, price cues, and personal rankings. They begin with Cipriani’s house‑made gelato, highlighting its dense, velvety texture, Madagascar vanilla bean flavor, and pistachio variant, noting it as one of the most expensive ice creams they’ve tried. Next they visit SW Steakhouse at Wynn for a chocolate chip cookie soufflé, describing its airy, egg‑based base, brown‑butter cookie crust, vanilla ice cream, and anglaise, and sharing reservation quirks and a $100‑plus price tag. The third stop is Delmonico’s banana cream pie, a towering dessert built on a thick custard made with vanilla bean, bananas, and a graham‑cracker crust, praised for its decadent pastry cream. Finally they showcase Pisces at Wynn, featuring the viral Dubai Chocolate Rocher (a multi‑textured pastry with chocolate shell, kataifi crunch, honey‑pistachio‑rose notes) and a Basque cheesecake, both presented as personal favorites. Throughout, they sprinkle in honorable mentions—RPM Italian pistachio gelato, Black Tap milkshakes, Gordon Ramsay sticky‑toffee pudding, Golden Steer’s cherries jubilee and bananas foster, and a frozen Baileys on the LINQ. The video closes with calls to subscribe, engage on social media, and share viewers’ own dessert picks, while noting budget considerations (previous $700 spend).

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael. And one of the things we've found here in Vegas that can either be a hit or a pass is desserts.
So come along with us as we show you our 4 favorite desserts in Las Vegas.
Let's go!
All right, so first stop on our list is a place that we haven't been to for a few years, but when we came here, gelato was on our order. And so this was one of the very first spots that we felt like we had to come back to. We ended up with just a vanilla, but this time we're gonna try vanilla and pistachio. It's gonna come with some chocolate sauce and nuts. I hope it's gonna be good.
Okay, so Cipriani's gelato is house-made, and it's unique because it's dense, velvety flavor, and it's authentic. These ingredients are specific to the Venetian culinary The intense flavor, especially in the vanilla, comes from the vanilla bean. It's a Madagascar vanilla bean and provides a delicate and enriched flavor. There's also a signature texture, which is smooth, silky, and compact. It's the hallmark of a traditional Italian method used by Cipriani. So the signature texture comes from the slower churning. Unlike standard ice cream, this gelato is churned at a slower speed, giving it a creamy texture. which incorporates less air into the mixture. And I think it's just as good as I remember.
It's so good. And that pistachio might be even better than the vanilla.
I agree.
This is some of the most expensive ice cream I think we've ever ordered.
I agree.
Let's cover that.
This is the vanilla one. We added the— I think it's hazelnuts. There's some chocolate syrup over here. The pistachio comes with crushed pistachios and black cherries. Oh gosh, those cherries are delicious.
I think it's a fantastic thing that if you're in this area, which If you follow this video, you might be in this area, at least for some amazing desserts. So we got 3 more to go.
I will tell you though, vanilla is what we had originally. The pistachio is the one I'm gonna have a hard time leaving any behind.
Yes, we've always been big fans of pistachio gelato, including one of our honorable mentions is RPM Italian at Caesars Palace. Yep, their pistachio gelato. I think this is better.
I agree.
I love the gelato. Two of them is too much.
Oh God, it's so much. I'm so full.
Yeah, I don't think I was lactose intolerant when I walked in, but I might be now. But I'm really glad that we ordered two because we got to try the pistachio one, and I think the pistachio one was better. I do too. And so if we're talking about best desserts in Las Vegas, we just found one that was even better than what we went in for.
Yeah, what we had planned.
Yes, more to come.
All right, so we're here at SW.
Steakhouse at Wynn for our second favorite dessert.
Oh, I love this dessert.
Yeah, this one is the chocolate chip cookie soufflé. A soufflé is a light puffed egg-based pastry that bakes to a high airy consistency, named from the French word inflate. There's a brown butter cookie at the base of the dessert providing a rich, nutty, and buttery flavor. And then there's vanilla ice cream and a vanilla anglaise that gets poured on top and inside of it. Oh, we had it here about a year ago, I believe.
Yeah, I think so.
Right about a year ago.
Yep.
And it was like our best bite of the trip, probably best dessert of the year. Uh, I'm very happy to be back.
Yeah, I'm so excited. I'm— I've been waiting for this one since we decided to do this. I am so excited for this.
We did end up making a reservation for a table, which they said you're probably not supposed to just get desserts and drinks here, but we also knew we weren't going to get into their bar area, which is always so busy.
Yeah.
But luckily they gave us a table and—
With a really cool view, and you can't complain about that. Yeah, I mean, likely we're still gonna spend $100.
Yeah, don't you worry, we will get over $100 because we did order another dessert as well, just because. And it's actually the same thing that we had 2 times before, right? But we did ask for half an order because the first time was way too big.
Yeah.
All right, so you may have already heard, but it is a chocolate soufflé on top of a chocolate cookie or chocolate chip cookie, vanilla on Yes. And oh yeah, it's my birthday, so we also got a chocolate cake.
It's so light and airy. Oh my God, it's like an underbaked chocolate chip cookie. That's one of my favorite, like, things to have at home. It's warm, it's creamy. It just all melds together so well. Oh my God, it's still my one of my favorite desserts here in Vegas. Yes, hands down. And of course, you get some ice cream with it too. I guess that's probably a contrast of heat and cold. It's fine. I don't need it. I love the soufflé. The soufflé is the standout part for me, and I will come back to SW. I come here just for this every single time.
All right, uh, Rachael did a very good job describing it, and our waiter did remind us, get all the way to the bottom so you can get some of that cookie, right? It's so good.
It's so good.
Yeah, we love soufflés anyway.
Yeah.
But like, there's something like— I don't know if it's like a salt or it— maybe it's the edges. There's just like crystallization.
Yeah.
That gives a nice crunch to it. All right, I'm glad it's still on the list.
I agree.
Now, this is not part of our list, but you're getting to watch it anyway. So as you can see, this is funnel cakes, and it's the half order. Yeah, we did the full order before. It was a complete mistake. But you got a nice perfectly done funnel cake. You get some caramel, uh, I think vanilla and chocolate.
Yep.
But you're gonna have to come here to try that. We get to eat it now. All right, so as we were finishing up that dessert, I was saying to Rachael, like, it's crazy that we have 2 dishes coming up that we were looking forward to even more than that soufflé.
Yeah, and now these are not in any particular order because they're all our favorites. Depending on what you're in the mood for, But that soufflé was so good.
Well, and but in reality, I think the last 2 were the 2 that we had the highest ranked. I agree.
Mhm.
And so that one crushed it. Oh, so good. You should keep watching. Before we go any further, look down at the bottom of your screen and see if you're subscribed. It's totally free and helps us out. All right, this is my number one pick for best dessert in all of Las Vegas. This is one of the reasons why we're making this YouTube video.
Absolutely.
We wanted an excuse to come back here to Delmonico to get banana cream pie.
That's so tall.
Yeah, that's right. And apparently they use about 12 to 15 bananas per pie. They have a custard, vanilla custard filling, whipped cream, chocolate shards, caramel, graham cracker crust.
If you're not a banana fan, you shouldn't order this.
No, but I'm a banana fan.
It's so tall.
Look at how it just— I can't even get through that.
You can't get through a whole pie.
But I'll try it.
The filling is an extra-thick decadent pastry cream made with vanilla bean, heavy cream, milk, egg yolks, and cornstarch. This robust custard is what allows the pie to stand up so tall without collapsing, and I truly think it's probably what sets this dessert apart.
Absolutely. I freaking love it, and it is the custard that makes it different because one of our honorable mentions would be the pies over at Joe's Oh yeah. The tough thing for us is we enjoyed 4 of them. There were 4 of us that went and all 4 of us picked a different pie as a favorite dessert. So when they're counting against each other, you got to go with the one that is a surefire winner.
Surefire win and stands out. The nice part is this isn't only available here at Delmonico, it is also available over at Emeril's at MGM Grand.
Yes, whether you're on the south side or the north side of the Strip, you can get it. All right, before we get to our final dessert for the list. We did have some honorable mentions that we haven't talked about yet. Uh, one of them's right here at Black Tap. We did do, at the recommendation of our friend Cam, who said that the, uh, crazy milkshakes are worth it here at Black Tap, and I gotta say they were.
I have to agree with Cam on this one, so spam the comments with thank you, Cam, for that recommendation because it was fantastic.
A few other options includes the sticky toffee pudding, which you can get at almost any Gordon Ramsay restaurant. It's all slightly different.
Yeah, but the base is there.
Over at Golden Steer, there is a Cherries Jubilee or a Bananas Foster, which they do flambé tableside. And then if you're looking for an adult version, you can always try the frozen Baileys over at the LINQ Promenade.
Yeah, so those would be our hot tips for the best desserts in Vegas.
One more to go. Hello. All right, welcome to the Prettiest dining room in all of Las Vegas.
Agreed.
Uh, we— this is our newest addition to the list. We are here at Pisces at Wynn.
It's beautiful.
Go ahead and take a look at this room.
Like, it's absolutely gorgeous. Josh will have to get a piece behind me, but it looks like portholes. Yeah, it's so beautiful.
And now, once again, like at SW, we did have a reservation, but we didn't notify them before we sat down. We're just gonna do drinks and desserts. So if you need to put us at the bar or whatever, please feel free to. And they still sat us, so that's really nice. That is very nice. Um, but yeah, we ended up blowing our budget. I think we hit $700 the last time we were here. Yeah, we're gonna stay a little bit under that and just target some desserts and drinks because we loved the cocktails last time.
All right, so the last dessert, and I'm saying it's the favorite dessert. of Las Vegas for me personally, which is why it's on the list, is the Dubai Chocolate Rocher here at Pisces. So this Dubai Chocolate, if you haven't got on this bandwagon yet, you should. It became a sensation after a single TikTok video hit 120 million views. Here we go. Dubai Chocolate, the magic lies in the specific combination of textures and flavors that create a multi-sensory experience. Outer shell providing satisfying chocolate snap. The crispy kataifi pastry provides a delicate crunch. The creamy middle layer delivers rich, smooth contrast. Subtle notes of honey, pistachio, and sometimes rose water create depth. All of these include the perfect level of sweetness that balances all the elements. I'm not kidding you when I say I dream about this dessert. I'm so excited for this one.
And just because we're crazy, we're gonna get a second one.
Yeah, we might as well.
Yeah, you can't come to a restaurant and only get one dessert, so we're gonna try the Basque cheesecake as well. You know, why not?
Why not? Oh my.
Oh wow, I did not expect that. Did you?
No, me either.
All right, Rachael, you got it. This is Rachael's number one dessert in Las Vegas right now.
Yeah, so it's here. And I know it's gonna be a big bite, and I can't wait. I'm serious, I've been dreaming about this.
Here we go.
I love this dessert. It's cold, it's creamy, it's chocolatey, it's earthy with those pistachios, it's sweet. It's something you can't describe without trying it. If anybody can properly describe Dubai chocolate, I will take it because I will— I just love it. It's absolutely my favorite dessert.
And just in case you're worried, here is the Basque cheesecake.
It should not be that creamy. It is delicious.
Yeah, check that out. If you're into cheesecake, they've got that as well, but if you want something more rich, check that one out. All right, as you saw, those are our 4 favorite desserts here in Las Vegas and a few honorable mentions. What are yours? Go ahead and leave a comment down below.
