And today we are checking out the Front Yard here at Ellis Island. Neither of us have been here before.
They have a really good special, I guess you could say, for football Sundays. You get like a— reserve a table and you get 3 hours there. So we're excited to try it out.
Yeah, we didn't bring any sports gear, but we definitely brought our Christmas sweaters.
Yeah.
So we're looking pretty festive. We'll see you in there.

It's smaller. These are the pork belly bites.
Yeah, it is loud, but it is football too. Pork belly bites. Oh my gosh, look at these! I don't know what the sauce is, but looks like a mayo sauce. Yeah, it smells delicious.
Good char. That's delicious. That's good.
It's got some sweet.
Yeah, smoky. I do think it's a mayo sauce, like an aioli. A little bit spicy, a little bit sweet. Very good. It's so good. Oh man, this is delicious. Those fries are good. It looks like the same thing that was on the pork bun.
Yeah, so this we get pork—
cut that egg—
pork belly and more fries. Yes.
Oh my, there's that egg corn.
Yep, like how can you resist that? Whoa, look at that.
All right, guys, so we got french fries, pork belly, egg, ketchup. Thank you.
Oh, there's some onion something.
It's on top. Green onions.
No, this was like an onion, like a sautéed onion in there. Like, it's right there with the sauce. You gotta try that.
It's like a loaded french fry. It's delicious. We love, we love us some egg.
And we get the pork belly again.
It's got that spicy aioli from the pork belly. It's got more pork belly bites. French fries, which are super crisp, well seasoned, and super good.
Good choice. The appetizers here are spot on. Yep.
And we are on round 2 of our beers. This could get out of hand.
The waiter, Jeffrey, I think is his name, he brought me my second Heineken before I even asked. Like, I was finishing my first and had it here.
It's pretty awesome.
The service here is impeccable.
So I ended up with the sour on the second one because she really wanted it.
I did.
But it's still very good. It's pretty sweet, uh, not super sour.
Not super sour, which is okay. I'm glad we got it, but we can change it up for the next round. All right.
Or do we open the bun? Open the bun. Mmm, that looks good. That does look good. All right, so we have the CBR sandwich, which it was hard to tell, but I'm pretty sure he said it was a chicken sandwich. It's got a pretzel bun on it. It's got a little bit of lettuce.
It does have a sweet flavor. I kind of like this.
It does. Super crisp. Um, sticky, sticky. You're gonna want to wash your hands after this.
It is. I wonder if it's like a syrup on it.
Yeah.
We are here for brunch.
Very crispy.
Pretzel bun is soft. Yeah, I think it's like a syrup. Yeah. This is good. This is a good sandwich.
Yeah, very good. Is it bad that I want to pick it up with my hands? All right, so we got the French toast. Apparently it's like a Hawaiian sweet roll dipped in French toast batter, put in a waffle iron.
So Hawaiian sweet roll is one of my favorites.
Yeah, Rach's got a fork up, but I am using my hands.
Oh, you are literally using your hands.
Yeah, there's some like— yeah, very nice soft butter. I'm gonna dip it in the syrup.
You're going all out.
I'm going. That's like the best of both worlds. That is super good. The butter is super sweet, soft, whipped.
I love the waffle.
It provides like a really great tech— great texture. It's crisp, soft on the inside.
Yeah, that's delicious. Tasty.
Very good. All right everybody, here's the wrap-up for the Front Yard here at Ellis Island. Um, great sports bar atmosphere, lots of TVs all around. We saw, I think, 8 different games going at the same time.
Open-air venue, so it's kind of cool. You still get the fresh air and that aspect of the sports bar venue.
Yeah, it was actually really nice to be wearing these Christmas sweaters because it is December. It is chilly, but they did bring us a heater right next to us. Yeah.
Uh, food-wise, man, that's some good bar food. High-end bar food as well. High-end bar food.
Yeah, the pork belly was very, very good. It was, um, like fried, so it gave a really good crispy element. It was good texture. The fries were good. The chicken sandwich, which it was covered in corn flakes with some honey, right? Then it was Frosted Flakes. That was delicious.
Then we had a French toast waffle.
Yeah, what'd you think about that?
Spot on. It was really good for a waffle.
Yeah, I agree. Uh, it was just good. The, the butter was delicious. Super, super creamy whipped butter. Um, and then Just dip it in some syrup. It was tasty.
The outstanding piece here at The Front Yard at Ellis Island is the beer.
The beer is great.
It's brewed all in-house. The Hyper Horizon was my favorite by far, but we've had almost every single beer on the menu except the IPAs. We're not IPA fans.
We got a lot, I'm not gonna lie, um, which led to them actually giving us a flight, which is typically not on the menu. So if you can make it to round 5 in your 3-hour period, you can get a flight if you're really nice like us. Yeah, uh, thank you to Jeffrey who really hooked us up, was a great waiter, um, amazing service. Honestly, everything here has been great. I would highly recommend it. I'd come back for another sports day.
Exactly. They did say, um, the Knights games and the Raiders games are— they pack this place in. Of course, it's Sunday, a couple weeks before Christmas. Actually, it's the week before Christmas, not the busiest time of the year, but you could tell that this has a very cool Especially during those home games.
Yeah, I would definitely come back. Recommend coming during a Las Vegas sports event.

But the service is good and the beers are fantastic! And we got a free growler! We don't even know how! I got a blackjack and—

It was so much fun! You should absolutely check this place out! Um, I don't know what it is but it's just a small, small casino vibe! It's a fun atmosphere! It is super fun! A lot of good stuff! Really good beer. Really good beer. The beer is really good. If you like beer, you should go there.
