What Does $100 Buy At A Las Vegas Food Court

In this vlog, Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt explore the Fontainebleau Promenade Food Hall in Las Vegas using $100 of resort credit. They order a variety of dishes—birria tacos, a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and hot honey, a burger, and three sushi hand rolls (spicy scallop, lobster, and spicy tuna)—all through the venue’s app, aiming to spend as close to $100 as possible. The total comes to $102.76, excluding drinks. Throughout the video they comment on portion sizes, pricing, presentation, and flavor, noting that the tacos and pizza are their favorites while the burger is less impressive. They also discuss the food hall’s ambience, the convenience of ordering via the app, and compare this experience to a previous $100 food‑court challenge in New York, expressing disappointment that the credit didn’t cover any beverages. The vlog ends with typical call‑to‑action prompts.

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
And we are at Fontainebleau and we got $100 in resort credit.
Let's see how much we can get at the Food Hall for $100.
Let's go! All right, we are We're up here at the Promenade Food Hall, which is beautiful, and the food looks really good, but the food is pricey. So we've done this once before at New York, New York, and we had so much food, we could definitely not finish it all. This time our eats are not as big. So we did get a burrito taco, we got 2 of them, and then we went to Bar Ito and we got 3 rolls, which I believe those 3 rolls were, uh, $33. You can see they're not exactly the largest sushi And we've got a couple more pieces coming. There are 4 that are open at night, but you can get a really cool view of the casino floor right here and look out over it as you eat.
All right, $102.76 or something like that.
Right, yeah, we were trying to be as close to $100. This does include tax and tip. Yep, but at a food court, and it doesn't include drinks.
2 burrito tacos though. We probably could have got a drink and shared one burrito taco.
Yeah, I mean, when you're spending $100 at a food hall, I get it. It's a food hall, not a food court. But you would think that you would get enough.
The thing I did like is that you could order 3 of these on the app and then pick it up. So I did like that. Okay.
Let's see that bite. There's cheese.
They're very full.
What, some green salsa? Mm-hmm.
And a nice birria consommé with it. That meat is very tender. I really like it. Now, is it $8 worth? $8 plus $3, $11? Because you had to pay extra Is that extra for the consommé? The consommé is extra.
Oh.
I don't know, but it is a good taco, and you guys know I love tacos. I would devour that thing.
Yeah.
Like, that is delicious.
And we found a spot with the smallest table possible.
Yes, but the quietest.
Yeah, it is the quietest. There's no speakers above us, and we get to look over at the casino floor, which is beautiful.
And I would say, oddly enough, for a Friday night, it's not very busy, but it's also like, what, 9 o'clock at night or something like that?
9 o'clock on a Friday.
Yeah.
Apparently people are going to fancier dinners than us. Yeah.
This here is the pepperoni pizza, and I think it was like add the works or something like that.
Yeah. So it adds this extra cheese, the basil, the basil, and the hot honey, right? Yeah.
It's a pretty big slice. I will say it's not fresh baked because it it's reheated. I filmed a little piece of that.
A reheated slice.
But you can see the bottom is nice and crispy. I can already feel that.
Yeah. No, it looks good.
Okay. This is gonna be messy. Mmm.
I like the I like these pepperoni cups.
I do too. I really like the crispness on that, um, on the crust, because it's not a very thick crust.
I don't know that I'm gonna want to eat this part of the crust though.
No, I wouldn't either. And not overly cheesy without that added cheese, but itself is a really good slice of pizza.
It looks good. Yeah, that, that time you got more of the added cheese. Do you think that you need the extra cheese?
Yes.
Okay, and the extra cheese costs like an extra $5.50, I think.
Yeah, all the extras were like $5.50. Originally it's like a $10 slice of pepperoni.
Do you notice the hot honey much?
Yes, it's got a nice sweet heat to it. I freaking love it. Like, I don't know which one I like better already because I would eat both. I would devour this if it wasn't your turn to eat it.
Yeah, well, I'm gonna try 2 other things. All right, we're not sure if this is called Capone's or Capone's.
Yeah, we've heard it pronounced both ways.
We have. So we ended up with the Smoked Sho, which— oh, that bun has a little bit of a It's got a nice little toastiness to it, you can see.
There's some kind of secret schmear.
So there's some cheese. Yeah, that must be the secret schmear down there. You can see the fried onions, the pickles, barbecue sauce.
Cheese, yeah.
Yeah.
It's not a very thick burger.
No, and it's— I think it's just one patty.
Yeah. So all 3 of these dishes so far, between the tacos, the pizza, and the burger, were between about $16 to $17. And you were able to order them all on the app in one order. In one order and pay for it in one order, which was very nice.
That was very handy because otherwise you'd have to go to each individual spot.
Yep.
All right, the burger is good. Um, maybe a little overdone for me.
Okay.
I do like the crunch that you get from the onions, and I do think there's some bacon or bacon jam in there.
What do you think about the bun? Because you usually like a really soft burger bun.
I think the bun's really good.
Is there too much bun to meat ratio?
No, and I— it's actually— it seems like the appropriate size burger, so it doesn't It doesn't need to be a double.
Okay.
I don't know that I would call it like a smash or—
Yes, smash burger.
Yeah, I don't know that I would call it a smash burger. There's not like the crispy edges. It's a good burger.
Yeah.
Is it $20? I don't know about that. I mean, there's no fries or anything for $20.
Yeah. I think the struggle I'm having right now is when we've done this before, we were able to get 2 or 3 beers, and this, we're not able to get any drinks at all, and we're still at $100. The most expensive order is coming up next.
Yeah, yeah, the most expensive piece was Bar Ito.
But it also has the prettiest presentation.
It is very pretty, and it even tells me how to eat it, I guess.
If you didn't know how to eat a hand roll.
Oh yeah, so it's 3 rolls for $33.
Yikes, because they're not very big rolls.
No, but it does come with, uh, you can get your wasabi, your ginger.
Now can you get 1 roll?
I didn't see it on the menu where you could. I'm guessing there is, but it just showed 3 for 3 for $33 or 5 for $50.
Yeah, that's why I wasn't sure. 5 for $50 or 3 for $33. That's why I wasn't sure if you were able to order. Yeah, and they all had standard drinks, the Coke products in a can or bottle, and then, uh, bottled beer. I didn't see any specialty cocktails, but up here there is a bar.
Hold up, how the heck do I get this out? Have you eaten this? All right, I'm confused here.
Oh, then it peels off there.
Okay, so you roll it yourself, it looks like.
Oh.
Which is hard on this table.
Yeah, you're gonna need some room.
Yeah. Oh my. Okay, there is instructions for a good reason, I guess.
Yeah, he was laughing about how to eat a sushi roll, but now we know why.
Apparently I needed it.
Needed it.
Okay, I did it. I was like, I can't eat that.
Okay, this is—
You can't eat the plastic.
Okay.
I'm gonna go ahead and dip it just a little bit first.
Which one did you pick first?
This is the spicy scallop.
Oh, okay.
So we did a spicy scallop, a lobster, and a spicy tuna. The rice is really good. There is some nice heat to the scallop.
Oh, good.
Scallop is nice and fresh.
Is it—
It's a good sushi roll.
Is it $11 good?
Maybe. I'm not gonna say it's not.
Okay. Yeah. Okay.
I think we're gonna have to eat a little bit more to see.
Okay.
That is good.
Isn't it really good? I like the crispiness of the.
I like the honey a lot. Mm-hmm. But yeah, the crispiness is good. I feel like we got better piece than Miles to Memories got.
I think so too. This is an interactive food experience. You have to roll your own.
Roll your own sushi. Yeah.
But you don't even get to. It's almost too much paper.
I love it.
What do you think?
All right, um, I thought that the burger— I, I just kept eating it because I was looking for flavor.
Yeah, it was missing something.
It was. Um, I don't know, like the burger itself didn't have a lot of flavor, and then all the ingredients kind of just melded together, unfortunately. Yeah, so that was a miss for me.
I was gonna say it's my least favorite one.
Agreed. Um, I think I think my favorite is different from your favorite.
Yes.
Mine is the pizza.
And mine was the birria tacos.
Yeah.
I thought those tacos were fantastic. They were so stuffed with meat, and that meat was tender, and that consommé was just packed with flavor. It was delicious.
Uh, the consommé did make the burger a little bit better, so we did dunk that at the end.
Yeah, it sure did.
The pizza I really liked. It was a very nice crisp crust.
Yeah.
But also had some nice chew to it.
Yeah, and the flavors were all really good. That honey was so good.
The pepperoni cups, the honey, the— I'm gonna say this cheese wrong— stretchatellia.
It's white cheese.
Extra white wet cheese. It was delicious.
Yeah, it was. I think it's needed on it.
Yeah. The sushi I think was good. It's just pricey for what you're getting. And then I was so thrown off.
Having to re-roll it yourself.
Yeah, because I was like, this whole seaweed is inside of plastic. How am I supposed So I was thrown off by that, but eventually once we figured out how to roll it, I did think that the sushi was quite good.
Yeah, I liked the scallop one. It was spicy. It was nice.
But, uh, we were just talking about how what we got at New York, New York was more than enough for our dinner, and we had our breakfast with it, and we had drinks, and we had drinks. Yeah, we haven't had anything to drink, so we gotta go get a drink now.
Yep.
But so that's where it's a little bit Disappointing that our $100 doesn't even buy a drink.
Didn't go very as far, but I will say I love the food hall up here. I like the options, and I love this property, like the ambiance and newness. Yeah, it does give you something that wraps up. You might be paying for that.
Look back over there. Yeah, this place is beautiful.
It is beautiful.
Yeah, it was good. Um, it's a bit pricey.
Yeah, true.
