Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
If you're planning on going to Las Vegas anytime soon, you've probably already heard what's on everybody's mind.
Definitely had a little bit of sticker shock.
Higher prices.
From show costs to food, prices are higher. That's why in today's video we're gonna bring you along with us to see how much we spend on food, drinks, transportation, entertainment, and everything else we do during a 4-day trip.
Hopefully you'll find there are still some decent values.
Or maybe some places to avoid on your next trip. Let's go!

Alright, good morning.
Good morning!
Our flight got in a little late last night, so we ended up having to cancel our dinner reservations. Ended up saving a little bit of money, but this will give you an idea of what food halls are costing these days.
Now the food hall here at Aria does close at 11 PM. We got there about 10:30 and we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, one from Soulbird and one from Parm.
Yep.
And the total with fries and a drink— so we only, we shared a fry and we shared a drink— was $58.10.
Yes. And going back to the airport, we did take a taxi, which Uber, taxi, Lyft, they were all about the same price, somewhere in that $20 to $30 range. And so the flat fee to Aria is $25. We are not going to be putting tips in this because it's Different based on everybody. Oh, and we also got 2 drinks on the casino floor last night, which was $5 tips. I will count those because it goes towards drinks.
Yeah.
So $5 twice, so $10 there. All right, from a cost perspective, we just ate here at Peter Luger's, had a fantastic lunch. Unfortunately, we decided to have 2 drinks each, and so now we are looking at $220 added to the, uh, to the total.
All right, we just paid $12 for 2 liter and a half waters and some creamer for our in-room coffee. Here we go.
All right, for dinner tonight we are here in the Arts District. We are trying out Bar Bohème. Cost $21 to get down here with a Lyft. All right, we just had dinner at Bar Bohème and luckily they have this, uh, summer menu going where they have like a pre-theater dinner.
Yeah, it's like a prix fixe menu from 5 to 7 PM every night.
Yeah, so $70 per person. After a couple drinks, ended up being $234 all total.
I'm happy with that. One of our goals this trip was to have meals between $200 and $250, especially for dinners.
Without alcohol.
Yeah, that one fit right in with drinks.
With drinks. So good deal there. All right, drinks were cheap.
$43.
$43. That was for us and some friends. Yeah, a few rounds. over at Nevada Brew Works. Sometimes it's cheaper.
It is.
Getting an abstract.
It is. But happy anniversary, Nevada Brew Works.
Yeah, so we're both celebrating 5 years. Us on YouTube, them on Main Street.
Main Street.
Good morning. We are, uh, walking over to our brunch spot this morning. It is going to be an all-you-can-eat for, I think, like $49.
I think so too.
Over at STK.
All right, just finished up at STK for brunch and with alcohol. 4 drinks, so each of us had 2. It was $148 before tax and tip.
Yeah, after tax I think it was like $158. Yeah, very good price, good food, lots of it. All right, since lunch we've been gambling quite a bit.
We've gotten drinks as well.
And we've been winning, which is why we splurged on some water. That we didn't want to walk for. So $16 for 2 waters.
And $15 in tips for drinks on the casino floor.
Yeah, that's 2 mimosas each and 1 amaretto daiquiri. All right, we are checking out of Aria here very soon. We are packing up. The cost of this room was zero because I gamble and lose too much money. So as long as I don't lose an embarrassing amount over at Venetian, I'll just tell you how much I end up losing this weekend because I anticipate it. But the way that we like to look at it is it's more like we are Prepaying for these rooms.
Yes.
Um, but at this point, because we are at Gold level with MGM, we had zero resort fees and zero fees to stay here. We also had a little bit of resort credit, I think $100, that went towards our brunch earlier today. So cost of this room, zero. We do have resort fees over at the next hotel though. Here's the good part about that $100 food and beverage, and we only ate at STK. We just checked into our room at the Venetian, and I bet there's something in here that you have not seen before. You know, I'm sure lots of people have shown you these nice suites, but check this out. Did you know there's outdoor space?
There's a terrace.
Yeah, on the 3rd floor of the Venetian, you can get your own little garden Garden area. That's sweet.
Okay, quick update on prices. Dinner at Golden Steer was a total of $330, and then a Lyft back to our hotel, $15.
All right, good morning. It is pool time. Uh, we had a little bit of coffee out on our terrace.
Yeah, but this is very reminiscent of our terrace too.
Yeah, it's really nice. But last night we ended up coming back to the hotel. Did get a couple of drinks on the casino floor, so $5 each round. There we go, $10. All right, so we just had lunch here at Delmonico at Venetian. Amazing power lunch kind of thing. We did have a couple upcharges and a beer each, which landed us at $171 after taxes. And now we're about to do something that I said I would never do.
Oh, I'm so excited! Let's go!
So after lunch, we went to the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere.
Wow!
I was very against it, but it was pretty spectacular. And if you have any interest in going to the Sphere, Right now I think that is probably the best cost-to-entertainment option for us.
Agreed.
Unless there's a concert that you really want to go to. It was $238 total for the 2 of us to go. I don't have a problem with that. It is Las Vegas and I probably would have lost that much money sitting at a slot machine.
And while we were there, we each grabbed a diet soda with a souvenir cup. So that was $28. And afterwards we grabbed 2 liters of water, a gallon of water for the room. And 2 tall boys for $25. That was at Walgreens. So again, if you're willing to walk a little bit to get to a Walgreens, you'll save a little bit of money.
Yeah, and we got souvenirs.
Yes.
Check this out. If you go to the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, when they are around apples falling from the tree, look up. You can get a couple. We actually both caught 2 and we gave 2 away.
Yep.
Alright, later. Later.
Oh, it's pretty.
It is pretty. Uh, we just did a birthday celebration dinner. Yeah, $365 over at MOD32. It was an over-the-top meal, but it was delicious.
So good.
Good morning. We just ended up hanging out on the casino floor over at Palazzo most of last night. Did grab a drink at Juliet. Uh, I'll put the costs up. They were pretty expensive, but they were very good. This morning we're just gonna grab— I got a fried bologna sandwich and Turkey and wolf, $18.
All right, so we just had a quick bite to eat at Black Tap because we weren't really that hungry, right?
Right.
But hungry enough for a little bit of wings, fries, and of course a milkshake. Total, $60.
All right, cost update. Uh, Rachael found a coupon in her email from the Venetian.
I knew we were gonna find one.
Apparently we gambled too much.
Yeah.
But, uh, we ended up getting $10 off our 3 drinks there, so it ended up being $33, and I got to try a sample of a whiskey I've never had before, and it was delicious. All right, final meal in Las Vegas for this trip, and we went to one of our favorite spots, probably our new favorite.
I would say my favorite, hands down.
3 times this year we've been to May Daly's and loved it every That might be a first for us, but our meal was $220 before tip.
And then we got a Lyft over to the Wynn, $13.
All right, so tonight we have a show. We are going to Atomic Saloon. This was $379 and some change. See you in there. All right, good morning. Early flight, uh, we're— it's like 5:30 right now. Yeah, it's early. But $29 for a taxi to get to the airport. We don't know what the prices were, but you probably do, and it's probably worse than we think it is.
It always tends to be.
Yes, but hopefully you were able to get some tips from this as far as like places you may want to spend a little bit more money and also some spots where you can save some.
And at least set your expectations for what might be coming your way on your next trip to Vegas.
