LinkedIn Posts Aren't Converting? Do This

Raj Khera from Make Media shows a new tool that generates LinkedIn posts from a 10-15 minute interview about your background and goals. It creates 5-6 post variations on trending topics or about 10 posts per month, ready to publish. The beta closes at the end of August.

Hi everybody. My name is Raj Khera. If you don't know me already, I'm one of the founders here at Make Media. There's a big upgrade I'm going to show you right now, and then we are closing out our beta program because we're preparing for launch. Let's get started. When you log into Make Media, here's your new screen. This is the dashboard, which allows you to create content. Normally you would just click on this one to create the full article, but we found lots of people wanted to be more active on LinkedIn without writing a full article. Problem was, what do you write? No time to do it. And how do you get people engaging? So I've been working on this problem since I was sitting on spring break in Miami Beach on the sand trying to figure out how can we get people to be more active and more engaged on LinkedIn. And we think we've found the solution. In fact, we've been testing this for about a month now and it's really increased the traction of people who are using it. I'll show you how you can set it up really quickly and then be able to create extremely authentic and very engaging LinkedIn content in minutes. The two sections you want to pay attention to are here on the left. There's an executive onboarding interview, which is the initial setup. And then there's the actual LinkedIn post, which you can generate very quickly. Now the onboarding setup is something I recommend that you do before you start creating any LinkedIn posts. I'll click here to start the interview. It's an active listening module that understands what I'm all about. This initial setup takes about 10 minutes or so. It might be 15. I recommend you go through and answer these questions in great detail, not short answers. The reason is the more detail you provide, the more it understands about you as a person, because LinkedIn is all about connecting with others at a human level. What you want is something that's authentic. So the more you share about your background, about things that are important to you, your causes that make a difference in your life, the experiences that you've had, the career transitions that you've had, all of that has an impact. Walk through the questions. They're very carefully structured questions that will create a personal brand framework just for you. Here's what a personal brand framework looks like. For starters, this is the interview that I did. It's got questions and the answers that I had, and then it created this personal brand framework. This is all about me. If I look at this and it's really figured out my background based on what I've said, it understands my skillset, how I lead, the things that are important to me, the reason I'm on LinkedIn to begin with, my goals. Nice thing about the content you're about to create is it's very simple to do. Make a hot topic post or make a monthly post. I'd recommend doing the Hot Topics. It'll generate about 5 or 6 posts for you. And then the monthly post, it'll ask you a wider variety of questions, conversations you've had with team members, customers, events that you might have gone to, trends that you're seeing in the industry. It'll capture all of that in one sitting and then generate about 10 posts for you. To start, just click Make a Hot Topic Post, click to talk, or just type in your answer. If you're not sure what to say, click Give Me Ideas. It'll look at your personal brand framework and come up with the ideas that are relevant for you. If you don't get a chance to finish, go back to Content in Progress and pick up where you left off, or when it's Once it's done, click on completed content. You'll see your content right there. Here's one I did just the other day. I posted it, actually. It got an immense amount of traction. All this is inside your account right now, ready to go. Just log in and start using it. The other thing is we are closing out our beta at the end of August. If you haven't set up a time with me, please schedule one now, and I'd love to just go over with you, get your feedback. And as a thank you for your time, for anyone who wants to continue on, we will give a very substantial discount and upgrades. Talk to you soon.
