Having good mentors and being a mentor for someone are both extremely important. However, the skills of finding, connecting and engaging with good mentors as well as being a mentor for someone are not taught in schools today. Which is why I wrote the book the Art of Mentoring. In the book, I discuss several tools and techniques on how to find mentors, how to be a good mentor, and I also address several myths that people have about mentoring. Ask yourself this question who is thinking about your success when you're asleep, especially beyond you and your family? So having mentors who are experienced in the industry who care about your success, think about you and your success is extremely important. They are thinking how to open new doors for you, how to introduce you to new people. In the book I also talk about the term called conscious networking as to how to get the interest of subject matter experts and successful entrepreneurs that you meet at conferences and conventions.
Finally, the art of mentoring is for people who want to achieve their full potential in an accelerated fashion. I hope you enjoy reading the book and do share your feedback online.
