A leader has three jobs: adapt to external changes, stay true to core values, and fix internal problems. These three things keep an organization healthy and create sustainable value.
A leader has 3 jobs. One is to adapt to external change. Basically, change in context, change in culture, things that are, you know, now different in the organization you need to make work, you know. The second is you need to be true to the core and the values of your organization. Like, what are you really about? And so that with that core and with that change, be able to make that realign. And the third, and this is serious, is you need to fix problems in the organization. And there's this idea that even healthy people get sick and sicknesses are going to pop up. And it's not going to be necessarily anybody's fault that things go wrong, but things are going to go wrong. You have a dynamic system. You have something that's dynamic on the inside of the organization. You have problems on the outside which are changes in context. And through all of this, you need to be adapting and be fixing so that the core of your business, what you are really about, your values, shine through and create value for the market.
