A startup founder argues AI-assisted coding is the real future of no-code, not drag-and-drop tools. The speaker pushes back, questioning whether AI code generation actually counts as no-code at all.
Talking— I was talking yesterday with a founder of an AI startup. Like, they are kind of like an AI-assisted coding startup, because I got some people reaching out to me on X because of, you know, the tweet that went viral, kind of like. And I talked with him and he said something very interesting. He said no-code is the future. I said, I would disagree with you, but what is your definition of no-code? He said, no, no-code is not drag and drop. That is over. The future of no-code is AI-assisted coding. That is the new no-code.
