An advertiser noticed studios just repackage movie teasers as ads. So the speaker made a dramatic apocalyptic hook using a cloned digital likeness, then revealed the real message: unprotected APIs cause actual disasters. It's a movie teaser about API security.
because their advertisements are like the teasers of the movie, so they don't have to create advertisements. They just take a part of the movie, put it in there, run an ad. I was like, this is interesting. I'm trying to kind of like create some dramatic scenes to start a movie as a hook, like with VO3. So I'm trying to clone myself so it kind of like looks like me and VO3 in a scene, like, I don't know, the apocalypse is coming, we need to act now. And then this is the VO3 video and then it does a cut and it says, yes, this can happen when you don't protect your APIs correctly.
