Be T-shaped. I find that lots of people are exceedingly good at one thing. They can be world-class at one thing, maybe even a couple of things, but they are, but may have an opportunity to be good at a bunch of other things. That's the opportunity. If you can be great in one thing and be good in something else, then you can work with someone who is great at that thing and maybe really good at yours. That will make them a good consumer of your expertise. That makes you a great consumer of their expertise and deliverer of your individual values. This allows you to have 1 1 17. This is how businesses that combine diverse skill sets and ways of thinking create a whole lot more value, because instead of everybody having to have all the skill sets, you can be specializing the labor and the talents. That, to my mind, is the way you can create a ridiculous amount of value.
