Build your business before you quit your job. I talked to plenty of entrepreneurs who have this idea and they're going to go start their own business and the first thing they do is they quit and then they set themselves up a little nameplate and they sit behind their desk like, now I'm going to start. And that's a terrible place to be. Now, it is true that if you start building technology or building intellectual property while you're still employed by your current employer, this will create problems for you in the medium term because of the potential for the employer to own that IP. And you should be talking to a lawyer about that. But that's actually not going to be the biggest thing about your business. The biggest thing about your business is going to be the trust you have with the market. And there's lots of opportunity for you to be building trust without creating IP conflict. This can be done through doing consulting, just going, participating in communities, going to, to meetups and being able to build all that trust. Doing sales and laying sales pipe through building up your reputation is the key to making the most important assets of your business.
