Communicate every day. I think it's true whether you're with your employees, whether it's true of contractors, whether it's your clients, or your boss, if it's someone who you're working for. I would totally encourage communicating at least every day. Remind them of your existence, but also of your commitments and what is you're bringing to them. What I have found that particularly in a remote context, it's easier to be out of sight, out of mind. And maybe that means that nobody is yelling at you for a while, but also means that you're no longer on their radar of things that create value for them. Worse, when they're looking for and when something is going a little bit sideways, the fire burns longer if you're not actually in more frequent communication. So I would encourage anybody to start getting in the habit of, you know, reach out on a daily basis. Hey, here's what I'm doing. Here's where I am. You know, you could call to stand up, you can call anything, it doesn't even need to be a lot. But by putting in that touchpoint, you remind others you are there, you're creating value for them, and you're going to make more progress together.
