Do hard things on easy. A mantra for my children when we're doing our homeschooling is that we're going to do hard things on easy. We're going to find easier ways to go solve hard problems. Ways that might not have been available to me in the course of my education, but that we can use technology and we can use different techniques. We can use time because they're learning things that are like ahead of their years. To just put whatever we can to our advantage so they can accomplish more extraordinary things. I think the same thing is true in business. When we solve the hard problems and we figure out, you know, and we use our innovation to figure out the easier ways to solve those hard problems, oh my goodness, we can create so much value. The trick is, I think some people get stuck saying, "Ah, this problem seems so hard, I'm gonna go solve an easier problem and I'll solve that the easy way." Well, you know, solving easy things on easy really gets you much closer to a commodity, and then why are people buying it? What is the actual differentiator here? Pick a hard thing, pick the thing that you are expert in, figure out, you know, use your cleverness to figure out this easy way to solve it.
