Most software customers want more control, not less. While people hire vendors to take full control of trash removal or legal work, they use software to do more themselves. Products that empower users succeed; those that over-control the build experience fail.

Does your service give control or take control? I think in different circumstances, customers are looking for one answer or the other to this. I think in a lot of outsourcing situations, customers are looking for a vendor who will take control. Please solve this for me. In my general experience, the take control is sort of split between relatively low end, like please take control of taking out my trash, I don't have to think about it anymore, or very high end, please take control of this merger for my company because you're my lawyer, you get this big old deal done. The, uh, but in the middle, I think, and for a lot of what we do on day to day, we're not looking to outsource, we're not looking to have control taken from us, we're looking to gain more control, we're looking to gain more freedom of action. And particularly software products in the current age, we're looking to do that for us. I think software products that give you more control win, particularly in the world of low-code, no-code. I think there's too much temptation to want to take control in terms of controlling the build experience when you give freedom to the user.
