No-code tools don't eliminate complexity, they just move it into the tool's own mental model. The real value is doing complex work faster and aligned with your business, not avoiding code as a status symbol.

Don't be precious about no-code. I can't tell you how many times I see marketing or engagement posts or whatever say, "Hey, I built X and I did it with zero-code." Then you dig into it and it was actually a fairly complicated thing they did. And they did everything except write JavaScript or write Python or what have you, but you had to immerse yourself so deeply in the mental model of the tool that it was, is fairly complicated and fairly baroque and fairly arcane, I think is really the key word here. It requires very specific knowledge as you get into it. Which means sure, they didn't learn to code in traditional language, but they learned to make this other tool do backflips. For my money, the best promise of no-code is where you're able to make things much easier than they were before. It's not about code itself being precious. It's a question of arcana. It's being able to do more complicated things that are in line with your vision of what you want your business to be without having to learn deep technical knowledge.
