No-code and low-code platforms have made development a skill everyone already has. People use Excel and Zapier to build solutions without knowing it, and modern tools unlock those latent abilities to integrate machine learning and create custom software at scale.
Chapters
Don't call them citizen developers. Everybody is a developer now with the rise of no-code tools. You're going to find that people have been making software kind of their whole professional lives. They've been tweaking things in, especially in Excel or other tools that come across their desk. They are making hooks that work here using things like Zapier. It's like they, they were using the ideas of no-code, but they were never calling it no-code. When you look around at your audience, at your employee base, both those of you previously considered white collar, but also blue collar, you're going to find there's a whole lot of technical aptitude. It's not that there's a citizen developer category, it's that everybody is a developer now. The tools just allow you to uncork that latent asset in your organization to allow the integration of much more machine learning the way that they do work, create the things that are custom to your organization and unlock a lot more value.
