Serve the customer of one. I often talk to people who are very excited about creating what they call SaaS, and the idea behind the SaaS is that you're going to do business, you're going to create this one piece of software, a bunch of people are going to subscribe to it, they're going to be paying you money every month, and you're not going to have to do a lot of marginal work in order to be able to keep on getting this stream because you have a subscription relationship with a customer based on this software.
