A large audience doesn't equal sales. The difference is trust. Build a real network of people who actually know you by serving and inspiring them, then they'll buy what you offer.

grow your network. I don't just mean an audience. I think there are lots of people who have audiences that can measure like tens of thousands of people, and then they go out and they try to sell their product or service. And they tell me, and I've heard this multiple times, I have sold my network. And it turns out they made like 5 sales. And that's because their network turns out wasn't really that strong, wasn't that large, or maybe what they're making wasn't really proper for that network. But in either of those cases, there's a distinction between the network they have, people who trust them, and businesses that they run. And those, or they're involved in, and those that are just paying attention to them somewhat passively, where you've collected those tens of thousands of, say, Twitter followers or newsletter subscribers or what have you. Find out what your network is and then grow it. Grow it through serving them, grow it through inspiring them, grow it through making their lives better, because then you will have a set of people who have invested in you, who have a certain degree of trust in you, and that's going to be where you're able to deliver even more value to them through commerce that will also allow you to capture that monetarily as well.
