AI's biggest economic opportunity isn't replacing high-paid professionals, but automating low-wage routine work. Machine vision and large language models now handle tasks that once required human judgment. The real question: which low-paid jobs can AI do now?

For me, the big opportunity for AI is automation. And I think that, you know, some of the really cool demos are attempts to automate high-level professions, but the big economic opportunity is going to be answered what is almost automated, what is mechanical for a person that then we can be giving to the machine that previously the machine didn't have quite that level of judgment to be able to take care of. When this happened with machine vision, you know, like 6 or 7 years ago, the The challenge was a bunch of things where a human being would need to look to understand what they were seeing and, you know, what kind of object it was, and machine vision was able to solve that. Now with LLMs, we can introduce a higher level of reasoning that can take activities that were previously pretty mechanical and be able to put some much better judgment against them. That question's going to be what is relatively, you know, low paid or mostly mechanical work that you can now automate? That's gonna be where your opportunity is for AI.
