The two most important words, I think, for self-project management are "how interesting." When you are running into something hard, you get to a blocker, those two little words, "how interesting," take you out of being frustrated by whatever that challenge is and thinking, "Oh man, this is impossible, this is whatever." And when, as soon as you say "how interesting," you're starting to look at it and you are diving into actually solving the problem. Most people don't say, "How interesting." Most people say, "This sucks. This is terrible. I want to go do something else." And, you know, indeed you might feel in the moment like you want to do something else. But if you can just bring those two little words into your psyche, you increase the probability dramatically that you're going to be able to push through whatever this hard point is or be able to bring appropriate resources to bear. So that instead of being a blocker for you, it just becomes the previous step in your journey.
