Most people don't know how to manage. That goes for you. That goes for your colleagues. That probably goes for your boss. That probably also goes for your client, no matter how senior you might think these people are. Management is a skill. It is a discipline, and most people aren't trained in it. So when you're looking around, like, wondering why things aren't going quite right, often this is a failure of management. And this isn't about it being the fault or the, you know, bad actions of the other person. It is about, you know, not having the appropriate disciplines and the appropriate knowledge being brought to bear. And you can do something about this. You can learn more about management. The knowledge about how to do so is in books. It is well known. And if you apply it in, you know, reasonable dollops, you have an opportunity to make the environments you work in much, much better. Remember, you don't have to be a formal manager to be providing the management skill set. And if you do, there's no limit to how high your career can go.
