Make your location an asset. An asset is something that makes money for you, that creates value for you. I meet a lot of people who live in like these high cost of living areas, so-called HCOLs, that are in cities, right? Major metropolitan areas, but they want to have remote jobs because they think that's what the cool new tech job looks like. And I got to say that if you are living in a major city, you should be looking for how you can be putting your location to work so that you can be in the office. You can be building high trust relationships with your our colleagues much more quickly. When you do that, you are putting your asset to work. If you want to be remote, you should be trying to figure out how you can drive down your expenses so you can be keeping more of your income and putting more of that value to work and how you're going to structure your life around that.
