Set aside time to create. I think one of the biggest slams I've read in the world of parenting advice for working parents is don't parent in your spare time. And as much as it sort of aches because sometimes I think we all feel that way, I would also say the same thing for creation. Don't create in your spare time. Set aside time for it. Make it a primary thing, an important thing for you, and you'll find that because you treat it that way as time, you're going to treat the activity as important, and then it becomes much easier for you to make progress with it. I I think that creation is an essential part of the learning process, not just the delivery process. Creating includes things like creating content, creating code, creating insights you can be sharing with your friends. And the key thing about creation is that you're usually doing it in the quiet, right? It is going to be where you need to focus your brain to really get things out when you go from being a manager to being a maker. Set aside that time. Don't do it in your spare. Creation matters.
