Patrick McKenzie's advice to indie software makers applies to no-code and low-code founders: raise your prices. Most creators price too low relative to their value. Use a price increase as a forcing function to deliver 10x better outcomes and justify the new cost.

I'm a big fan of Patrick McKenzie, who's well known in the indie software community as Paddy O'Leatherneck. His continuous mantra is to raise your prices. He talks to technologists who are making all these little software businesses and tells them to raise their prices. I find myself channeling Mr. McKenzie a lot when I'm talking to people in no-code space. I say, go raise your prices. Because the part of it is that they really are pricing low relative to the value they deliver, and they are below the point of sensitivity in their market. But the other key thing is that to raise your prices, keep your eye on how you're going to increase your value that you deliver to your customer. If you keep on asking, all right, I gotta raise my prices next week, what's the justification for it? That pushes you to keep on delivering more and creating a more extraordinary effect on the market and how you're going to provide 10x to your customers. Ask how you can raise your prices so you can do better, create more value for them.
