Boot camp grads struggle to land developer jobs while non-technical people build profitable businesses with no-code tools. If you have any technical skills, you can serve non-technical customers by building with no-code and low-code platforms instead of chasing traditional developer roles.
Chapters
I run into plenty of people who have bootcamp-level experience and they are trying to get themselves a developer job and they're sitting around, sitting in lots of applications. They are making no progress, but they could. I also know people who have no technical training who are building significant practices or businesses using, say, no-code tools that require them to not go through bootcamp or what have you. And the truth is a lot of them have technical challenges. There is a big opportunity for these people who even have a modicum of that technical training they got from bootcamps to be able to serve these other customers. And be able to unlock the value that they intuitively know is there. Instead of sitting around getting no money and sending in lots of applications, I would encourage them to go check out what's going on in the world of no-code, low-code. You'll be amazed at what you're able to make happen. And it won't look like what the bootcamp originally sold you. It won't make you be a full-time React developer, but it will be an extraordinary new opportunity. And I wish you well with it.
