Most people quit building tech products when they hit the last 5% of hard problems. But no-code tools and AI like ChatGPT keep making those problems easier to solve. The real answer is usually just asking someone else for help instead of trying to do it alone.

The biggest block that I see for, you know, keeps a lot of people from even starting making a technology product is their fear of the last 5%. That they can look around and say, "Oh yeah, tools make a lot of this stuff easy, but there's still going to be something that's relatively hard. I don't know how to do it. And because I don't know how to do it, and, you know, I'm not gonna be able to finish. And because I'm not gonna be able to finish, I really shouldn't start and sort of pour my money down this hole and time down this hole." But the thing I have found is that the question of like what's still still hard, is a continuously moving target. The tools keep getting better, resources keep improving. You know, 18 months ago, we would have said no-code was just about, you know, visual interfaces for sketching out your UI. And starting, you know, maybe a year ago with ChatGPT, it became how can you express yourself using plain natural language that can sort of also create code that will feed into technology product. But most importantly, you don't have to do it alone. The last 5% can often be best solved by asking for help, bringing in people who are able to those additional problems.
