A founder built their product on Bubble, hit a wall, then switched to Cursor, an AI-enhanced code editor, and regained momentum. The speaker has used GitHub Copilot since 2022 and now sees agentic AI tools reshaping who can code and how code gets written.

AI coding is different this month from last month. I recently talked to a founder who had previously been building part of their business on Bubble, and they were sort of initially very excited about Bubble, how fast they went, slowed down, and then trying to figure out how they're going to kickstart their speed again. And their answer was using Cursor, which as of this recording is the, you know, premier agentic, you know, code builder IDE that is basically a fork of Visual Studio Code with some of those fantastic AI support. And it's not just as AI support. Like, I've been using GitHub Copilot since like 2022, and it was really helpful, like the enhanced autocomplete. And then later on, being able to have more of a chat-based interface, it became ChatGPT. Now this agentive composer work is changing things dramatically. It is changing the way code gets created and who can create that code and becomes, I think, a fundamental threat to code.
