Engineers waste time on setup and boilerplate when no-code and low-code tools let them skip straight to what matters: connecting an API or Lambda function. Speed is the real win, not abandoning code entirely.
Chapters
Why would an engineer want to use no-code, low-code? And the short answer, of course, is speed. But why does it go faster? And the key to it going faster is going to be the removal of all those little knuckleheaded things that can make up half, 75% more of the environment of doing a given project. If you go on to, you know, a YouTube of, you know, how to do X with Python, like using an AI library or something, you're going to find a lot of the YouTube is spent doing all the setup parts, how to set up your dev environment and how to set up, you know, bring in these libraries, whatever. But you can skip almost all of that by making use of these no-code, low-code tools. And by just focusing on those 3 to 10 lines of code or of action that you really care about, and being able to connect that to an API function in Lambda, whatever it is, that's going to create value for your customers, you get to realize that value of speed. But not just that, you get simplicity because you don't have to take care of all the stuff that doesn't matter.
