Creators should use development tools as means to ship products, not as ends in themselves. Pick tools based on speed and learning, not loyalty to any platform. The builder, not the toolmaker, stays in control.

Your tools work for you. You do not work for the tool. I've met a number of people who consider themselves to be XAML people or WWX people, or they are WeWeb people, or they are Flutter folk people, or they are Buildsheet people, or they're FastGen people. You know what? I don't care about any of that. I care about creating remarkable products that serve customers in a way they never thought possible. And what I do know is that the people who are building with these things, be they consultants, professionals, internal builders who have taken this on as an additional skill set, They are moving faster than the toolmakers, and you are bigger than the game. So don't be a fan of the tool. Use the tool for what it is good for. Use it to increase your learning, and then look around to ask what can help you be even better. By keeping that shopper's orientation to it, that shopper's mindset, as we call it in StateChange, you remain the most important person in the exercise, and you should be. The toolmakers don't need to set the pace. You should, and I look forward to running the race with you.
