Two is one and one is none. If you have one client, you don't have a consulting practice or a company or whatever. You got a job because you were basically beholden to that one company for whatever income you're getting. It's not until you have two and you could afford to lose one and the company will be able to not have to shut down lights that you are in position of actually having an independent entity and you have a vendor relationship as opposed to an employee relationship. With your clients and with your customers. I've run into a bunch of companies that have had this happen to them where they've got like one major client and it goes down. This happens all the time to consulting firms because it can be very tempting to say, I want to be focusing on delivering great value for the customer. And then they take the foot off of sales because sales was always hard. And then they get in a position where maybe the client has to shut down. Maybe it has nothing to do with you as a vendor, but still nevertheless, they shut down the company. Two is one, one is none.
