Use MAP for motivation. MAP is an acronym for 3 major motivators for employees in an organization. So things that are outside of just issues of compensation. Those are mastery, autonomy, and purpose. When they have mastery, they are able to apply their skills to be able to solve problems and then feel good about having solved them. And that mastery is when they are accelerating through both their investment and their delivery. Their autonomy is going to be that they feel like they've got control over their lives. They have control over how they're spending their time and how they're going to be solving problems. When they feel that way, they're really incentivized to want to do more and not feel like they're micromanaged. And then third is going to be purpose. Do they believe what they're doing has meaning? It's going to make, you know, their environment a better place for their colleagues, for the customer, whatever it is that's going to incentivize them to say, this is worth doing.
