Weekend projects are easy to replicate because they require little capital, so they're not real assets. What matters is the insight you discovered building them. Low-code tools and AI let you focus on finding that unfair advantage instead of grinding through code.

Weekend projects are not assets. They are not things that then drive investment. The fact that you can build it in a weekend actually just shows how replicable it is and actually kind of how capital-light it is and how much it doesn't reward further investment. So you turn around, you ask, what did I learn from it? And what capability did this show that you previously didn't really know about? That capability, that's where we need to focus our attention, right? It's not that you built this thing in a weekend, but that you can build things on weekends. There's a particular insight that you got from building this thing all the weekend. That's insight that you have and that nobody else does. That's going to be where the big benefit is. That's also really why I love these low-code, no-code tools. That's why I love building with AI because it allows me to build quickly. But more importantly, it abstracts away kind of the core stuff that's just like, hey, I'm making software and allows me to focus really on that insight, that insight that's going to create unfair intellectual advantage and value, the asset.
