Python beats JavaScript for low-code work because it handles math-heavy tasks that no-code tools can't. Learn the scientific Python stack—data analysis, numerical computing—to extend and enhance low-code solutions beyond their limits.

Going beyond, you know, low-code, I sometimes get asked what computer language would be beneficial for someone to learn or get good at in order to get leverage in their careers. And I often hear JavaScript as the answer to this because certainly JavaScript is what a lot of these no-code, low-code tools wrap around. And if you want to extend them a bit, doing that with some JavaScript can make a lot of sense, but that's not what I recommend. I recommend Python. Python's language is relatively easy to use, but more importantly, it is useful for doing much more mathy things. And those mathy things are going to be the things that the no-code tools are always going to have a harder time with because they're going to be intrinsically complicated. And being able to make more of those things work is where you're going to find greater success. So I would say learn Python and more than just learning Python, learn what was often called scientific Python, right? The Python that you use more for data analysis. That's going to be where the computer gets to be maximum computer, where you get to be maximum leverage over the, over and with the no-code tools that you're using today.
